I woke early that evening and fold up the blanket I used and placed the book on top ready for the morning, knowing that I will not be able to stay within the Master’s chambers at least for the time being.
I leave Finn and Ali’s chambers and head back to the Master’s. I quietly open the door and make my way through the sitting room, over to the bedroom. I open the doors quietly and then make my way into the closet, walking all the way into the back and slipping out of the nightdress and into a servant’s one.
