I kept my head low, adjusting my dark shades as I walked into the hotel with my two traveling boxes.

Even though I was out of the kingdom, I knew it was still risky for me to be seen. It was a very dangerous time to get caught by anyone.

“I’d love to book a room,” I uttered, further covering the other half of my face with the satin scarf I had on.

“For how many days, Ma’am?” She asked, and I looked at her through the space between my glasses and lower forehead.

“Two nights,” I responded in a hurry.

While she helped me book, I kept looking around, hoping there was no one that I knew or that no one could recognize me under my disguise.

“Thank you.” I collected my card and the room key from her. I pulled my bags towards the elevator and got in.

I let out a loud sigh and took a moment before screaming. “F**k!!”
