~Anne~I got to Trump’s door and knocked. “Trump. Are you there?” I asked, placing my ear on his door. “Who is there?” His voice was low. “It’s Anne. Can I come in?” I asked, keeping my ear against his door. “Oh… come in.” He responded, and I opened the door and walked into his room. I found him lying on his bed and he turned his head to look at me. “How are you?” I asked and he shrugged. “What do you think?? I can’t move the way I want.” He answered, and I nodded slowly. “I’m sorry about that, Trump. I wish things had played out differently.” I responded, sitting on the bed. He held onto the bed and pulled himself up. “It’s not your fault, Anne. I was robbed.” “Maybe if I had stopped you from leaving that day, you wouldn’t have been there when they robbed you,” I answered, and he shook his head again. “It’s not your fault. And I’m glad you’re here to right your wrong. It’s still pretty surprising though.” “I’ve gotten that a lot lately. It wasn’t easy for me to… just surren
~Daciana~ “The test results have arrived.” I heard Anne’s voice in front of my room. I hastily got out of bed and rushed to the door. Opening it, I found an envelope in her hand, and next to her was Trump in his wheelchair. “The result is here. Where is Randall?” She asked. “He’s not home right now,” I responded, and she gave the envelope to me. “You should check that too. You can show him when he comes back. I wasn’t lying.” She uttered sadly with gritted teeth. “I never said you were. Why would anyone think that?”“Well, your husband thought that. At least, this will clear his doubts about me.” I breathed out deeply and opened the envelope. I scanned through and realized she wasn’t telling a lie. I clenched my jaws and looked at her. “I’m so sorry, Anne,” I uttered, neatly folding back the paper. “You don’t have to apologize. Karma is a bitch, isn’t she?” She chuckled painfully, and I felt sad for her. Even though she had done evil, dying of cancer isn’t something I would wi
~Daciana~While Anne was being attended to, I sat in the hallway and tried to get through to Randall over the phone. I called his phone but there was no response. He must probably still be in the meeting We were yet to discuss having kids but I couldn’t let Anne know about that. I hope he will be free tonight so we can talk. His coronation is around the corner and he has so many things going on for him which is nice and important. But, this is important as well. I heaved a sigh and raised my head. Just then, I saw someone familiar, a young lady. I squinted my eyes to get a better look at who it was and to my greatest surprise, it happened to be Trisha pacing agitatedly in the hallway. ‘What is she doing here ?’ She seemed troubled and this puked my curiosity. I stood up and began to walk closer to where she was. “Trisha” I called out and she turned to look in my direction, and when she saw me she halted for a second expressing, surprise on her face.“Daciana” she called, raising
~Daciana~After one month We were all in a car. Lily, Trisha, and me. We were having a ride and it seemed like it was one of those girls' nights out. The only difference was that it was during the day and not at night. It was the third time the three of us were doing this. Crazily, Trisha and Lily seem to get along pretty well and we became the Trio in no time. Anytime Randall was out on business, we would all go to the bar, drink, dance, and enjoy the night. And when it was time for Anne’s chemo, any of them who were less busy would go with us, but today’s outing was a special one. A surprise awaits Lily but only Trisha and I know that. Brandon is going to propose to her. “We still don’t know where we are going,” Lily said as she laughed “We don’t know either. Maybe we would just end up driving through town.” Trisha replied “I don’t mind riding through town, I have nothing to do at home” I added as I drove. Trisha and I exchanged looks through the rare mirror and smiled sheepi
~Anne~ We stayed till evening at the restaurant, just enjoying the moment. I felt genuinely happy and among after a long time. Randall finally smiled at me, and everyone else didn’t see me as the evil woman anymore. It was all love, and I loved it. If only I had more time to be around all of them. It would have been so much better. We departed and everyone went to their various homes. I went with my son and his wife in the car, back to the palace. I had missed Trump so much already and I couldn’t wait to tell him how the day went. Alighting from the car, we all walked inside, feeling a little tired. “I’m kinda tipsy, babe,” Daciana muttered, with her head on Randall’s arm. “I know you are, darling. You’ve said that a thousand times already. We are home now. You can go to bed.” He responded, looking at me and smiling. “She’s just like a baby,” I uttered, and he nodded. “She’s my baby.” “Daciana!” We heard someone call, and when we looked up, it happened to be Agatha, on the st
~Daciana~The day of Randall’s coronation was finally here, and we were all gathered in the large hall. In the heart of the hall, a massive stage had been erected. We stood on the stage, Randall and I. Randall was adorned with a brilliant gleam of royal robes. His hair was styled differently this time, it was slicked back, most importantly, because the crown had to fit perfectly. I, on the other hand, wore a midnight blue dress with a long trail like the night sky itself. My hair fell freely to my shoulders and I held my head up high. It was an important day for Randall and me, and I anticipated this more than anyone. Family and friends stood close and around the stage, their faces beaming with joy. The High Monk of the kingdom, robed in white and gold, raised his arms, signaling the crowd to silence. “We gather here,” he began, his voice ringing out over the gathered masses, “to witness the coronation of Randall, son of Late King Edwin, the rightful heir to the throne of this Ki
~King Randall~ “Why can’t we leave for the hospital right now?” I asked in frustration as I rushed Daciana into the house. “You just got coronated. You can’t be seen in the hospital right now. There are eyes all over you.” Trump answered as we followed me alongside the others. “Who cares?? My Queen just fainted and I should care about what people will think?” “The doctor is on his way already.” Carl butted in as I laid her on the couch. “We… we can’t just sit back and do nothing! My son is missing! We should be out there looking for him!” Lily cried in agony. “I sent the guards out already. They’ll find him. They have to! Do you think I want to be here right now too??” I asked, sitting next to Daciana and holding her hand, hoping she would wake up. “I knew something like this was going to end up happening. We invited an enemy to live with us!” Agatha uttered, and we all looked at her. “What are you talking about?” Trump shook his head in confusion. “Anne, of course! After all
~Daciana~ I let out a soft moan as my eyes slowly opened. “She is awake, she’s awake.” I heard their voices faintly.“Queen Daciana, can you hear me?” His voice sounded louder than before and I nodded.I looked to my right and I saw a man dressed in a corporate outfit with a stethoscope around his neck. He was a Doctor. “Yes, I can,” I responded, trying to sit up.Just then I remembered what had happened before I lost consciousness, there was no Kendall or Trisha in sight. “Where is Kendall? Where are they?” I asked with agitation and Carl hurriedly moved closer to me.“Please take it easy Daciana. Randall has gone to fetch them. You should be more concerned about your health.”“Are they fine?” I asked, still very worried.“We got a call from Lily telling us that they have been found,” Trump said.“They are fine. You should talk to the Doctor, he has refused to say anything to us unless you are awake.” My mother replied, and I looked at the Doctor“What is wrong with me Doctor?”“C
