A Walk

After our talk with Trump, Randall asked Anne to be released. She seemed super grateful and at some point, I felt maybe, just maybe, she had come to realize her mistake and wouldn’t hurt us anymore.

It’s the third day since she was released from prison and everything seemed to be going smoothly. She also seemed nicer to me, which was quite strange because I wasn’t used to her being nice to me.

Randall was out on kingdom business, so I decided to take a walk around the palace. Just then, I saw Anne, walking down the stairs too.

“Good morning.” She greeted me with a wide smile, and I slightly bowed, smiling too.

“Good morning.”

“Are you heading out?” She asked, and I shook my head.

“I want to take a stroll around the palace. And you? Heading out?” I asked her and she chuckled.

“Out? I have nowhere to go. Can I go with you on this walk? We can… you know, catch up on the time I’ve missed.” She replied, and I slightly raised my brows.

“Sure,” I answered, nodding.
