Elena’s POV

I woke up to Daniel's gentle caresses, feeling loved and cherished. But my mind was still racing with thoughts of Alex's boss and the mystery surrounding them. I tried to push it aside, focusing on the present moment with Daniel.

Just then, my phone rang, breaking the peaceful silence. I groggily reached for it, seeing Phila's name on the screen.

"Hey, Phila," I said, trying to sound alert.

"Elena, I've got an update on Kalyan," Phila said, her voice firm. "Her flight has been rescheduled, and she's coming back to New York this evening."

My heart skipped a beat. This was it. Our chance to finally confront Kalyan and get to the bottom of things.

"Is she coming alone?" I asked, my mind racing with possibilities.

"Yes, she is," Phila replied. "I've got eyes on her, and she's not with anyone else."

I smiled, feeling a sense of determination. "Leave it to me, Phila. I'll take care of it. You focus on getting more info on Kiara and get back to me."
