Elena’s POV

“Alex, I am beginning to get upset now and explain what you mean you bastard”. I spilled out bluntly.

Alex smiled at me and gave me a devilish wink. “How about we talk about it next time”. He giggled.

I raised my brows in annoyance and surprise. “What? What do you mean 'next time'?" I demanded, my anger rising. "You're going to leave me hanging like this? After everything you've just told me?"

Alex chuckled, seeming to enjoy my frustration. "Oh, Elena. You're so eager to know the truth. But some things are better left unsaid... for now." He leaned forward, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Let's just say that our little conversation has only scratched the surface. There's so much more to uncover, so much more to explore."

I felt a surge of rage at his cryptic words. "You're playing games with me, Alex," I spat. "And I don't like it."

Alex shrugged, his smile never wavering. "Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. But one thing's for sure, Elena... you'll be seeing me again soon.
