Elena’s POV

“Alex is a lunatic. I'm just so scared of who he would hurt next and what his next move was”. I told Daniel with fear.

“Elena it’s fine just calm your nerves down”. He assured me. “Get up, let me drive you home”. Daniel said to me.

I felt a sense of relief wash over me as Daniel drove me home. His presence was calming, and I knew I was safe with him.

As we pulled up to my apartment, Daniel turned off the engine and turned to me. "You're safe now, Elena. I won't let Alex hurt you or anyone else you care about."

I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Daniel. He had been my rock throughout this ordeal, and I didn't know what I would do without him.

Daniel walked me to my door, his eyes scanning the surrounding area as if searching for any signs of danger. Once we were inside, he locked the door and turned to me.

"Get some rest, Elena. You're safe here. I'll make sure of it."

I nodded, feeling a sense of exhaustion wash over me. I knew I couldn't let my guard down, no
