Alexis's POV

My muscles ached from the long scrubbing, and the pain of yesterday’s punishment still lingered on my back. I was on my way back, to find the Head Omega and tell her that I had finished when I saw Elara and she had walked towards me. She said she was coming to get me.

When she said the words, the trauma of yesterday night hit me back. I was scared and I wondered why she was coming to get me.

I hadn’t seen her all morning, she had always woken me up, prepared my bath and picked out a dress for me.
