Alexis’s POV
The council meeting room in the Night Wolf Pack was more beautiful I had expected. The elders sat around a table with Alpha Kane at the edge chair. I was seated beside him. A chair I'm sure was meant for his Luna. As I sat next to Alpha Kane, I clasped my hands together to keep them from trembling, I fought the urge to shrink under the weight of the gazes that were on me.
Alpha Kane had brought me to the council meeting so I could be introduced to the Elders of the Night Wolf Pack as his mate and future Luna. I felt so uneasy as their eyes kept falling back at me when they spoke. I was lost in thought as I tried to keep myself from fidgeting.
