Damon. Damon woke up earlier that morning and had a meeting with his council of elders. The meeting ended sourly and he went back to his room to rest. He had seen Mia that morning but passed her by because for the first time in a long time, he did not feel like having anything to do with her. What was going through his mind was Olivia, and it had been that way since the last time they had lunch together at Jacob's Villa. It was like he couldn’t get her out of his head. Something about her voice, her eyes, the way she bowed her head when she spoke, and the way her voice always came out slowly and cautiously, like she wasn’t sure what to say to them remained in his thoughts. She still looked like she didn’t trust any of them, and he had tried his best to bond with her, but he could not understand why she was not taking the opportunity to be close to him. A lot of women would have thrown themselves on him when they found out who he was. But it seemed like she was closer to Jacob. Maybe it was because she was staying in his house, or because he was nicer to her. But he did not like that. It made him a little bit jealous. Their wolves were connected in a way, even though they had not commemorated their relationship in any way and had not had any deep or serious personal conversations. Whenever she was in the room, he could feel the connection, and he could not ignore it. Now, he was in his room after his meeting with the Elders when he heard a knock at the door. He wondered who could be coming to meet him at a time like this. He had already made sure that none of his staff disturbed him in the mornings unless he had given them permission, so he was curious to know who was at the door. If it was a servant, they would be adequately punished unless it was an emergency. He stood up and went to the door himself to open it, and he saw Mia standing on the other side. She was wearing a see-through nightgown with nothing but a flimsy G-string beneath it. She wasn’t wearing a bra, so he could see her nipples clearly. Any other time, this would have excited him and made him feel relieved, but now he just stared at her in boredom. "Hi, Damon," she said. "What do you want?" he replied, his voice sounding annoyed as his expression changed. "Did I do something wrong? It seems like these days you’ve been avoiding me and refusing to talk to me. It’s been a while since you came to my room. Do I not satisfy you enough?" she asked again. He was starting to wonder why she had come to his room by herself. "Did anybody see you coming here?" he asked, his expression serious as he asked the question. "No," she answered. "Nobody saw me coming. I was cautious." "Good." She looked at him and tried again, placing her fingers on his bare chest and trailing her fingernails down. "If you're stressed about pack business or have anything on your mind, we don't need to talk, you know. We've never had to talk much. I could help you relieve your stress." She said, as she looked at him seductively, biting her lower lip. Damon looked at her, annoyed that she wasn’t getting the message. He wasn’t in the mood to talk to her or to interact in any way. Gently, he took her hands and fingers off his chest and moved her back a little. "Mia, I’m a little tired and busy. Now is not the time for any of these things you’re trying." "But you never refuse me... What is going on? Did I do something wrong?" she asked, her eyes brimming with tears. "You know I’m always here, no matter what you want to do to me or have me take. If you want to try something new to keep your mind busy and occupied, you won’t have to think about all this pack business that stresses you..." "Mia, I told you to leave me alone," he said firmly. "If you can’t take the hint, I don’t know what else to say." With that, he slammed the door in her face. Mia was confused. Since the start of their relationship, he had never refused her. Whenever he was stressed, he always came to her. They never talked about the issues. He always took his emotions out on her in bed. She didn’t know what was going on with him. Ever since he had come back from the priest’s house, something had changed. She had asked him about it once, but he had quickly brushed her off. So she stopped asking, knowing how much it annoyed him when she brought up things that didn’t concern her. She quickly covered herself with her hands and walked back to her room in shame, brushing off his treatment of her, convincing herself he was just in a bad mood. Damon, who was already in a bad mood after his meeting that morning, became even more annoyed after his interaction with Mia. He grabbed his jacket from the bed and walked out, calling his driver on the way. He needed to clear his head, and the first person that came to mind was Olivia. "Where should I take you today, sir?" his driver asked. "Take me to Alpha Jacob's Villa. We have a meeting today," Damon replied. The last part was unnecessary since he never explained himself to his driver, but he added it anyway, trying to convince himself that he wasn’t growing attached to Olivia. The drive to the Villa was not long. As soon as his driver pulled into the gate, Damon saw Olivia and Jacob walking out of the villa, heading toward the garden. Before he knew it, a small spark of jealousy rose in his chest. He had to make Olivia like him more than she liked Christian or Jacob. An idea suddenly came to his mind, and he finally knew how he could do it.Olivia.I had been in my room when Jacob knocked on the door and walked in. He said he had something important to discuss with me and asked me to meet him downstairs. I nodded and got ready and went down the stairs. He was waiting by the door with a smile on his face that I still did not trust. He had explained things to me. He explained that when they saved my life, I had become their mate. I did not know what that meant but I was starting to understand why all the staff in the mansion respected me. They all attended to all my needs. My Wolf, Eva, was still healing, but I was starting to get worried. I knew the injury I had sustained hurt her a lot, but I needed her to wake up as soon as possible. She was my closest friend and I had gone too long without shifting.I stopped thinking about that and looked at Jacob. He had slowly become a friend and answered all my questions patiently. But I still had it at the back of my mind that I needed to escape. I did not need them to make me
Olivia. I felt a small spark of excitement in my chest. I hadn’t been to a mall in more than ten years. The last memory of being in a mall was when I was nine, before our pack had been raided. My parents took me there to get a birthday present. I shook my head to clear the memory and sighed. I did not want to think about my parents. The door opened by the side and I looked out to see the driver holding it open and I was embarrassed. I had gotten lost in thought and everybody had gotten out of the car except me. Damon was standing outside, looking at me expectantly. I quickly climbed out of the car and went to stand in front of him. “we have to get some necessary things” He said, and started walking inside. I quickly followed behind him so that i wouldn't get lost but it turned out that wasn't necessary, because the crowd of people were parting as he walked. Some of them had fear in their eyes, and the rest had admiration. He walked fast, so i struggled to keep up
Alexa had asked me to warm up for a while as she spoke to Damon. I had gone over to the mat and had started stretching. I had never exercised a day in my life, much less fought, but I still tried to do my best. I was clueless, but they did not have to know that.Alexa seemed nice enough, and I was glad to finally have another female to talk to, but I was not going to let my guard down just like that. She was his sister, after all, and I did not know what exactly was going on in this pack yet.I heard shouting and looked over at them to see that their conversation had gotten heated. Alexa was raising her voice, but Damon had a cool expression on his face, and he did not look like he was agreeing with her. After a while, their voices went down, and Damon left the building, leaving me alone with his sister. Then I realized just how weird this situation was, but I was still too scared to question it. Alexa now looked like she was in a bad mood compared to how happy she was when we first c
My training with Alexa had been easy yet tough and I wondered how often we would do this, but I did not have the mind to ask her because I still wasn’t sure about my place. When we had finished she gave me a bottle of water and went to shower saying that she had somewhere else to be soon, and Damon would be here to pick me up soon. I had a feeling that she excused herself because she did not want to be here when Damon came, due to the argument they had before. After about ten minutes, Damon showed up. He was wearing a suit and looking exhausted but I did not ask. I did not know how he would respond to it. He had a reputation of hurting people for the slightest things. I once heard a rumor that he killed someone just because he did not like the way he chewed his food.I shook the thoughts out of my head. Damon sat in his office with his hands on his head. He had been informed that the Alpha Council had requested a meeting with him, Christian, and Jacob that morning, and he was contemplating what to do. He knew this day would come, which was why he had taken Olivia to his sister’s training center to begin combat training. He knew what the council wanted, and he knew it was unavoidable, but he was racking his brain to think of a way to get Olivia out of this situation. He did not know how the council found out she was already awake. That must mean there was a snitch within the staff in the packs, and he decided to check it out later, after they had figured out what to do. Just then, he heard a knock on the door, and the door opened immediately after to reveal Mia in a skimpy outfit and pouty lips. He had to admit that she was extremely beautiful. That was the reason he had chosen her to be his mistress—that, and the fact that she did not ask too many questions about things that did not
OliviaThe door swung open to reveal a maid standing there. I hadn't seen any of the Alphas in days, and instead of feeling relieved, I felt worried. Had they finally realized they had picked the wrong person? Were they deciding how to discard me now that I was of no use to them? My mind went into overdrive, thinking of ways to escape before she stepped inside. She stood at the door with a dress in her hand, and I automatically knew what that meant.“The Alphas would like you to join them for breakfast,” she said as she placed the gown on the stool near the bed.I smiled at her and sighed. I was about to find out what was going on. I wasn’t sure, but my mind kept going back to the conversation Damon and Jacob had the day of my training. After that, the driver had been the one picking me up and taking me to Alexa’s gym. The training sessions had become more difficult, but I was handling them better. Still, I was nowhere near Alexa’s level.I got dressed and looked into the mirror. I lo
Olivia. My heart churned as I ran through the dense, moonlit forest. My bare feet brushed against the forest floor, leaves and twigs. The wind blew through the trees, bearing with it a sense of haste that rhyme with me.Stealing a glance over my shoulders, I felt my breath harshed as I caught glimpses of the guards chasing after me. They didn’t seem like they were going to give up.My chest raced with exertion, but fear pushed me to keep running. I must not get caught.. Getting caught means that I will have to face my Master’s wrath. I cannot bear that. I have seen other weak wolves like me die while he punished them, he was the most notorious Rogue. Living as a maid in my master’s house has been horrible, all the work we had to do, his rude guests and supporters that made my life a living hell whenever they came to visit him.Humiliating my pride as a weak wolf, making me live in misery. The other weak wolves were treated this way too. They were stronger and always wanted to pic
Olivia.Just when I thought I had truly escaped, two hands grabbed me, I spun around, eyes wide, knowing that the guards had caught up with me. Panic surged through my veins. They made me kneel, circling me like they were protecting me.They were six in number, their faces were covered with masks, dressed in black clothing that made it quite easy for them to hide and blend when I thought I had lost them in the forest. Their presence reeked of an unsettling energy. One of them had a band tied on his head, he was the strongest amongst the six, that was the way of identifying their ranks. He took a step forward and pulled my chin up.“Please don’t kill me. I'll do whatever you want.” My voice trembled as I begged. The leader with an intimidating voice and aura spoke in a low, menacing tone, “We are not here to kill you. Our Master has ordered that we bring you back to him alive and untouched.”My mind raced in fear, that must not happen. I can’t face Master’s wrath. “Please do not take

OliviaI was alone in the room now, Jacob had gotten a call about important business that he had to attend to and he had left the table in a rush, waving me goodbye.I was still confused about a lot of things but at least I knew where I was and how I had gotten here. But knowing that had left more questions in my head. Why would they go through such a sacred ritual to keep my life when they had no idea who I was?Had they mistaken me for someone else? What would happen when they figured out that I am just an ordinary slave? What prophecy was Alpha Jacob talking about?I made up my mind that I did not need the answers to them. I needed to find a way to leave this place immediately. I looked around. The only option to escape was the windows and I would surely die if I attempted to escape through there.Just then, an idea popped into my head. The staff in the villa seemed to respect me or at least not pay me any attention. I slipped my feet into slippers and started walking out of the
Third person.Jacob kept thinking about what Olivia had told them. As a child, her pack had been raided and she had been taken as a prisoner and turned into a slave. He had heard stories of how the slaves were being treated in the rogue pack, but he had never imagined that it was as bad as that. When they had found Olivia, she had looked starved, with scratches all over her body. Her eyes were sunken in and she was beginning to look like a skeleton. When she sat at the table earlier that evening, the fear in her eyes was very evident, she looked like she was picking and choosing her words so as not to offend them. He had done his best not to make her scared but Damon and Christian had made her scared. He started thinking of ways to make her feel more comfortable. She was staying in his villa. He had put her in one of the best rooms in the villa and made sure she had enough maids to order around if she needed anything, but she still seemed scared. He knew what he had to do. He had t
