I Pray I Don't Strangle Her

I loathed seeing Vince cry like this and I had specifically told her. Violet was honestly too stubborn, she barely listens to whatever I had to say and does what she feels like. I understood her work quite well but then she should also understand me as a father.

"I don't know," Rachel replied calmly.

Damn you, Violet. Was this some kind of a joke? Why would she leave without disclosing her movements in case of Vince's emergencies?

I was already stressed at work and I just wanted to come home to rest. This wasn't what I wanted to face tonight and the cause of it all was Violet. I looked up at Rachel who had a glass of chilled water in her hand.

"Here. I believe you must be very tired and Vince didn't make it any easier for you," she said, smiling faintly.

" Thank you, Chel," I took it and thanked her. After I took a sip of the water, I asked curiously again," She didn't tell you when she was leaving?"

I knew Rachel and Violet weren't the best of friends because of my marriage to Viol
