Gift Part 21

NOAH'S P. O. V

"What gift should we get your bother?"

Long story short Alex forced him to make a stop to purchase a gift for his brother.  Okay that is putting it lightly, what she basically said was:

"Get your brother a gift or else I return home, I refuse to go to a wedding empty handed it is bad manners even if I am just accompanying you."

"Do not worry we truly not required to buy him anyth-"

(Alex got out of the car) and this was before they got to the airport.  Lucas, Toby and Jayden tagged along. Jayden was surely eating this drama up mostly because woman always submitted to him with no effort from his end and now there pouts an adorable female he really wanted in his life.

"What I mean is that we can just show up empty handed, my mother has already prepared our the gifts. Besides she (Noah's mother) just wants to see the reason I refuse to let her guilt me into seeing one of her friend's daughters."

Either way Alex did not stop moving towards the mall, Lucas and Toby got out and followed. Noah sat back and looked at Jayden with a hopeless expression. he knows how much his distant cousin enjoyed the fact his not in control.

"Finally the universe has answered my prayers..."

"But you know mom-"

"Alex considers herself as a guest, besides she has different customs than we do. She may hate them but most of what she says, do or act has been her norm for a long time. Oh yeah, take note... You. Are. Always. Wrong."

"What are you talking about I explained-"

"Even as an alpha when it comes to our mates we always need to know when its not worth fighting. Otherwise they get angry and refuse to talk to you for a month and you sit here with that stupid facial expression."

"I'm still your alpha."

"So? I call it how I see it. Listen Noah, in relationships you either suck it up and comply to stupid activities say for example... watching every single BTS concert, listen to every single song and keep track of every name and to show a modicum of interest to that. Do I like watching Leo watch other man dancing on a stage with a face of make-up and hear him rave about his bias? Nope. I don't care who the hell Jin, Kookie, or Suga is but me just watching makes him happy then later I get happy."

Jay shrugs and went on his his chat to check on Leo who is still out. The combination of what basically are drugs in his system, combined with alcohol for his system. If they were to drink the herbs it is to be moderated or else it would serve as a toxin. Jay is just driving them to the airport and will drive back to his mate, the nurse must have reassured him because he visibly relaxed.

"Fine but I know I'm not wrong on this one but to avoid altercations I will concede. How long does this last?"

"What is, until you die?"

Jay laughs and he released a sigh of defeat and followed his fated who bounced from shop to shops. Lucas and zippy looks to be doing their own thing, Lucas clearly going along with whatever zippy was saying. When zippy picked out a waffle maker as Logan's perfect gift he smiled and gave Lucas a kiss on his cheek. They proceeded to go get the gift wrapped hand in hand looking cosy and all lovey dovey.

Tearing his eyes of them Noah followed behind Alex. My living hell, the woman was indecisive and picky at the same time which means she keeps touching, putting down, comparing two items before ditching both. It was truly like shopping with his mother he would rather jump of a plane than pretend to care what his brother would receive as his wedding gift. Although just seeing his lovely fated focused just made her look more cute and adorable in his eyes, he finally found something to focus on.

"I'm not the reason right?"

"Reason for what?"

"Mmm, the reason you refuse to let your mom set you up…"

Alex whispers and tried to duck her head to hide her her adorable shyness, he loved the fact that his fated is responsive to how she feels physically. Eyeing a toaster as well as a waffle maker, those would be perfect appliances if they are planning on getting their own place.

"Do you want to be the reason?"

She flushes at a loss. Deciding on ignoring Noah for peace sake she manages to push him to one side and he chuckled. Out of the corner of her eye must have seen it, a perfect gift that has to be on the registry. He followed the call of one of the new models, it was the clean (expensive) modern blender with multiple useless functions that would still serve to just make juice or a shake. In order to end the torture of indecision he smiled at the blender as if it is something his brother would really need.

".... Let us get them this blender. Common Noah I am sure a blender has to be on their registry, right? It looks perfect. Plus it is your brother, I think you should put thought into this and maybe when you get married he will do the same for you."

"So… What I'm hearing is you want to marry me?"

"No. No. No. I just speaking hypothetically, if you were to get married to a woman."

"Three no's would have hurt if your heart rate did not pick up. Alright Axx get the blender. I cannot wait to find out what Logan gets us for our wedding."

"Shut up."

ALEX'S P.O.V

She made to walk away but the idiot handed him his card. Originally she planned on paying for his brother's wedding gift but now that she has the alphas black card. She will be saving her money for rent, for next month.

"Whatever makes you happy, what should I call you? Hubby? (He laughs) But that does not sound right, don't you think? Hubby."

"Shut up. We had an agreement. It sounds fine."

"Alright hubby... See, it is like we already married."

"Stop teasing me. Marriage is not something you can joke about."

"So you do want to get married?"

"What are you hearing? In fact give me the drugs you take so I can understand… What in what I said, says I want to get married?"

"Literally the last five words in your sentence. You just said and I quote: 'I want to get married.'"

"That was a question genius!"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

"Good you just answered it."

Realization dawned on her and her face reddened. The day she is tricked by Noah, now nothing in this universe makes sense anymore. They got the gift wrapped and walked to the car and this time they both sat at the backseat and Jayden drove them to the airport.

they boarded the plane and she was stuck sitting next to Noah, it was first class. She has never been on a plane and the moment she boarded her anxiety flared, she moved anxiously.

"You nervous."

It was an observation but she denied it by shaking her head no, she is too afraid to speak so she opted to looking around her body now trembling as take off time drew closer.

"Everyone please put on your seat belts on and switch devices off, we are about to take off."

the flight attendant spoke and her face paled. The plan started rocking and she hung onto the body next to her burring her face in warm strong muscles. with his scent playing with her lady parts she did not realize that that they have already left the ground.

"Please get us two glasses of red wine."

Noah must be speaking to one of the all attractive woman walking around with short skirts and bought breast. When she heard what he ordered she hid her head clearly scared to actually be jealous of a man she has no right to.

"No, I don't drink. Please get me a strawberry mocktail."

She muttered her face still hidden till she heard the clicks of her heels walk away. they were miles above the ground and she did not plan to let go of what made her feel safe.

"If there is anything at all, anything I can do for you please do not hesitate to ask."

She spoke in Mandarin, perhaps her race or color of her skin made the woman assume she does not know any other language than English.

"Here is my number and if you want to get ride far from the hippo-"

She stiffened and her grip on Noah loosened. she is on a verge of actual tears but she will not give the man and the woman the satisfaction of seeing her definition of fat cry.

"Enough. Don't you ever touch me, pick up your rubbish and don't you ever speak ill of my girlfriend or prepare to suffer the repercussions of making me mad."

The words flowed out of his mouth and her insides warmed at the thought of this man standing up for her. His voice was strong, dominant and challenging a complete contrast to the cheerful Noah. This side of him made her wolf sit patiently until she felt warm fingers easing her grip until she let go.

"Here drink this."

OMG his still using that authoritative voice. she drank her drink with out complaint and the man brought her head slowly resting it on his shoulder. Suddenly something cold touched her ear but before she could jump 'Run' by BTS started playing. That is my favorite song, how did he know? He was on YouTube playing all BTS songs until she drifted of to sleep.
