Ali looked at me with a thankful expression, as we walked back towards the car to leave; after dropping Dina off at the school “Thank you for helping me take Dina to school Mrs. Day.”

I waved my hand dismissingly, then showed a genuine smile on my face “Call me Maria; Also, it was my pleasure. I am very happy to help.”

Ali smiled then her face looked curious “I do not mean to sound disrespectful, but may I ask what brought on the surprise visit this morning?”

I looked down at my outfit and dusted off the nonexistent lint, then gave a smile that was on the verge of secrecy.

I grabbed her hand “I have heard a lot about you from my son. I loved everything he said about you so much, that I wanted to come and meet you myself.”

She looked touched “Thank you for saying that, considering the fact that you have never met me before.” She gave a small chuckle “I hope he said all good things about you.”

I laughed and nodded my head “Absolutely all good things.”
