Time for Dessert

The fundraiser went really well and was a huge success. It was unfortunate that Dillion and Dina were not able to join but I understand. Everyone else in the even did as well. It was really nice of Sam to do what she did for Dina, even though she has never met her until now.

Matthew turned to me, when he noticed I was getting sleepy “Are you ready to leave?”

I smiled and nodded my head in reply to his question. Standing up from my chair, I went around the table, kissing everyone on the cheek goodbye. After telling everyone goodbye, Matthew and I walked out the banquet hall and towards the elevator, that will take us upstairs to get Dina and Dillion; from the hotel room that Sam booked for Dina. It was really nice of the staff to do this quickly, instead of making us wait for a room. When the elevator arrived and doors opened; we stepped inside;
