“You don't seem too excited,” she noted.

“Why should I be, Chloe? They confuse me so much. One minute, they act like I'm a crucial part of their lives and the next minute, they ignore my existence. Even though they are my mates, I can't help but feel like I'm gambling my heart,” I answered.

“Oh, dear. I understand exactly how you feel. Their behavior towards you is not fair in the least. You know, I even tried talking to them about it today but they completely ignored me. However, one thing is certain, they are deeply about you,” she assured me.
