KABANATA 63

ㅤㅤㅤㅤLORENZO’S déath was sudden and when it finally sank in, Lorraine couldn’t sleep a blink because she knew her brother was living peacefully and quietly in their house, yet they somehow found him déad inside the house their mother left him.

It was... rather disappointing in her part because she didn’t know him a lot.

She didn’t spend a lot of time with him nor was she ever given a chance to grow up with her real brother. Ang unfair pa ng buhay dito dahil ipinalaga nga nya ang anak sa lalaki pero hindi man lang nya nagawang bumawi rito habang nabubuhay pa ito.

Though, she did plan to start anew with her brother and son but... Life played them again.

“Mama, ‘kala ko po uuwi tayo kay tito? Bakit po nasa bahay po ulit tayo ni papa? ‘Di na po ba tayo aalis?” inosenteng tanong ni Laurence habang abala itong gumuhit sa sketchbook na iniregalo ni Jared dito.

Hanggang ngayon, hindi nya malaman kung paano sasabihin sa anak kung ano ang kinahinatnan ng pinakamamahal nitong tito.
