CHAPTER 6-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Jack almost wanted to kiss Kate on the lips. However, he was to reluctant to do that.

Jack's fingers pinched 's chin and forced her to look into his eyes. In his heart, Jack thought did he need to replace his wife with a submissive woman? Kate had an innocent nature, but she was too silly in Jack's eyes.

"Punishment?" asked Kate to be sure. Currently her face was panicked, she was enduring the pain of Jack's hand that was still pinching her chin.

Kate's way of thinking was really unexpected. In fact, Jack who heard it didn't know whether to be angry or laugh. The expression on Kate's face was adorable according to Jack.

It was finally dinner time, but Kate still didn't dare to go downstairs for fear of meeting Jack. However, no matter how scared, in the end Kate was still forced to face him, because they slept in the same room.

A few minutes later after enduring a long period of hunger, Kate's stomach began to rebel. Kate lay curled up on the bed holding back her hunger. She had to be able to hold it in. If Jack found out, she would definitely be killed.

Soon Jack walked into the room and saw Kate like that. He smiled and then took his cell phone and went to the balcony to call someone. Jack called Gawali, "Please order one of the maid servants to put the food in the refrigerator."

The room was very quiet at one o'clock at night. Kate came out of the bathroom after she had taken a shower to clean herself before going to bed.

Kate slowly approached Jack who was already fast asleep on the side and whispered into his ear. "Mr. Jack, Mr. Jack?" Kate called Jack twice but he still didn't give a reaction.

Kate still felt a little hesitant, so she waved her hand over Jack's face.

"Mr. Jack, are you asleep?" Still no reaction.

Okay! Looks like Jack is already fast asleep. That's what Kate thought. She got out of bed and walked out of her room.

The floor was so cold that it made Kate's feet uncomfortable, but if she wore sandals, the sound of her footsteps would definitely be heard. So, Kate was willing to endure the piercing coldness in her feet so that she could eat. Her two hands reached out to the wall and she slowly descended the stairs.

Arriving at the bottom Kate just realized how stupid she was. Between the first floor and the second floor was connected an elevator used by Jack, so why did she bother going down the stairs?

"'It's okay, I've also reached the first floor, now just go to the kitchen,” Kate said in her heart."

Kate slowly walked into the kitchen while groping where the refrigerator was. Then Kate opened the refrigerator and was greeted by a complete meal.

Kate continued to search the contents of the refrigerator until her eyes fell on a pack of bread. "What are you doing?" Jack's voice came from behind. Kate turned around and saw Jack sitting in a wheelchair staring at her.
