Chapter 2

“Good Evening Mr.Yoo!” The staff greeted as soon as Tristan stepped out of the vehicle, Raven stepped out as well and she saw just how big the mansion was… And thought… He lives alone, only with staff? In this big mansion!?

“Take care of her luggage, Bring her to the guest's room… I'm counting on you Miss Park” Tristan says and enters the mansion without waiting for Raven, A maid approaches Raven and smiles at her

“I'm the Head Maid for Mr.Yoo, The staff either call me Miss Park or Jamie” The maid said and Raven bowed to her

“You probably haven't been informed yet but… You'll be working as a maid here, Office work for staff is completely forbidden under Mr.Yoo… He says she doesn't like playing office and would rather work alone” Jamie said and Raven just nodded, It wasn't like she was actually expecting to be hired for an office job, she's got no job experience let alone knowledge what goes on in the Yoo Company

“Then, Please follow me I'll show you your room” Jamie said and Raven nodded and followed behind her

“You must be someone really important to the Yoo's, not only were you recommended by Mr.Yoo’s dad but you're also living with Mr.Yoo and having the guest room to yourself” Jamie says and chuckles

“Huh? I'm not that–”

“Here's your room, You don't need to get changed into a uniform but do attend the meeting… It's in 30 minutes” Jamie said and Raven could only nod, Jamie went back down the stairs and Raven was left alone in the room, she quickly puts her stuff away and goes down to see everyone lined up, she rushes to go to a spot next to the head maid as Tristan arrived

“Since we're at a new place I'd like to discuss things over with you guys, you have been working for me for the last 10 years so I expect you to know the rules already but we have… Someone new today so I'll discuss it again” Tristan says, eyeing Raven who stood among his staff

“The First rule, the most important of all, Do not enter my room without permission and do not disturb me whenever I'm inside. The only time you can knock is when the room needs to be cleaned” He starts

“Second, You're not allowed to suddenly leave the area unannounced, you must tell me or the Head Maid, Miss Park before you leave. Third, you're not allowed to invite guests over… This is my house, my rules and my property. I'll only allow guests if it's important. That's it now go to your accommodations, Work starts early tomorrow so chop-chop” Tristan explains and the staff immediately bow at him and leaves

“What are you standing around for? Go back to your room Miss Kim, Work starts at 4 am. We have punishments in regards to the rules… You don't want to feel my wrath as soon as you got here” Tristan said and walked up the stairs and into his room

“What was that?... It was like an entirely different person… She didn't feel like the girl I met earlier… Was it because she was trying to look nice in front of my parents?” Raven thought

“I didn't know my parents' debt would be this much... Now I'm trapped being a maid of this spoiled brat, who does nothing else but go to school and be spoiled by her parents... Well it was what I've heard” She thinks as she heads back into her room

“Mr.Yoo breakfast is ready”

As the sunlight goes through the curtains Tristan opens his eyes, he sits up on his bed before looking at the time... 4am. He gets dressed before heading down to the kitchen and the staff immediately greets him as he entered

“Here's your breakfast Sir” Jamie serves the usual breakfast for Tristan and he just nods before looking at the maids lined up on the side, his immediate instinct was to count them and so he did. His eyes squint as he realizes one was missing... But who? He knew everyone's faces but he couldn't point out who was the one that was missing

“I'm sorry I'm late... The uniform took me a long time” Raven suddenly enters and Tristan heaves a sigh... Right... He wasn't used to new faces, that's why his staff never changed for the last 10 years

“Why did it take you a long time?” Tristan asks and turns her head towards Raven who looked uncomfortable just standing up

“Uhm... I don't think... This is my size…” Raven says, almost a whisper but Tristan still heard it clearly

His eyes traveled from Raven's face down... His eyes immediately spot the short sleeves and his stare travels further down until he reached the skirt of the uniform and Tristan immediately turns his head away, clearing his throat as he feels a light burn on his cheeks

“I see... I'll have someone make your uniform... That uniform was just a spare... I didn't think it was that short…” Tristan says, awkwardness filling the air as Jamie tries to hold her laughter in, nudging the driver who was also holding in his laughter. They were the only two that could talk freely with Tristan so it wasn't uncommon to see them tease the lad, afterall they've worked for him for more than 12 years already

“Ja— Miss Park please have a new uniform made for tomorrow…” Tristan says and Jamie takes a deep breath before nodding her head

As soon as Tristan finishes her breakfast he orders his staff to have a break, it was only their first day in the new mansion so it would be best if they got used to it first. He heads towards the theater room and sits down on the couch, turning the TV on but before he could watch anything a knock fills her hearing

“Come in” Tristan says and the door swings open to reveal Raven, still in her short uniform and Tristan turns to her only to avoid looking once again

“Uhm... Sorry to bother you but I wanted to ask how my uniform will be made? Since uh... I don't know my sizes” Raven says and Tristan just turns back to the TV

“Miss Park!” He yells and immediately Jamie shows up behind Raven who slightly at the sudden appearance of the head maid

“Yes, Sir? You called?” Jamie asks and looks at Raven, a knowing look appearing on her face before looking back at Tristan

“Bring a measuring tape, Miss Kim doesn't know her sizes... It'd be best to measure it now so we can send the numbers to our tailor” Tristan says and Jamie instantly rushes away

“Aren't you cold? Why'd you stay in your uniform?” Tristan asks, his back still turned

“I thought it'd be rude…” Raven replies and her eyes widened as Tristan suddenly takes off his top

“W-what are y-you—”

“Wear this for now... It's cold here since the AC runs at 6 degrees... I like it cold when I watch” Tristan says and throws his hoodie to Raven before grabbing the blanket settled on the side and also tossing it over to the girl

“Here Sir— Oh... Ah! I brought the measuring tape” Jamie says, her eyes lands on Raven who puts on the hoodie, still a little dumbfounded from the shock of seeing Tristan suddenly take his top off

“Measure her please” Tristan says and before Jamie could get to work Tristan's phone started buzzing, the caller ID was named “Dad” and Tristan instantly rubs his forehead and answers the call

“Yes dad?” Tristan asks and he pulls his ear away as he hears screams from the other end of the line... It sounded like his mother was going off on someone again and he instantly sighs

“Can you send some staff over? Your mother is losing it... I think she'll break everything if someone messes up again” His dad said and Tristan immediately drops the call

“Miss Park, go to my parents... Bring Mister Jung with you... It sounded like my mother was becoming a dragon from all the noise” Tristan says and turns to Jamie who nods at her

“And inform me of anything that might happen there... I don't want to hear anything from mom because I know for a fact that she will yell while telling me the whole story” Tristan adds and Jamie nods once more before settling the measuring tape down onto a table

“On your way out tell Miss Gee and Miss Wang to get groceries” Tristan says and Jamie heads out leaving the two alone

“So... Who will measure me?” Raven asks and Tristan looks at her

“You can't measure yourself?” Tristan asks and Raven slowly shakes her head and Tristan purses his lips before grabbing the measuring tape and getting closer to Raven

“I'll do it... I'm in the fashion department just don't move too much, I hate people who moves too much” Tristan says and stretches out the tape, he looks at Raven who hesitated for a bit before lifting her arms up

“Why don't you have your measurements? That's literally the first thing a lady should know about themselves after growing into an adult” Tristan says and Raven eyes him

“Well I didn't really care much about it... Also I study business management, not fashion design” Raven replied and Tristan raises a brow

“I study Business management too I just work in the fashion department because I already have a degree in Fashion designing” Tristan replies and wraps the tape around Raven's body

“Oh... But aren't you the same age as me?” Raven huffs as she embarasses herself, she quickly lowers her head and immediately regrets it as she sees Tristan's hands stick onto her body to measure her bust

“Your posture is getting bent, stand straight or I won't be able to take your measurements properly... Yes, we're the same age but I took two courses at once and I just got my degree last year” Tristan says and looks at Raven, he spots the girl's reddening cheeks and ears and a smirk slowly appears on Tristan's face as a thought came into his mind

“Maybe you want me to go straight to the hips?” Tristan teases and Raven's head flew up, her face now completely flushed as she shakes her head

“I'm just kidding... You should've seen your face” Tristan chuckles and continues to measure Raven's body, his movements slowed down though as he heard a light whisper

“What a pretty smile…”

Tristan immediately brushes it off but his beating heart wasn't something to brush off... He didn't even know why his heart was racing... A lot of people had complimented him before but he's never felt like that

He shakes his thoughts away and continues measuring Raven's sizes, he kneels in front of the girl to measure her hips and looks up to give a smug grin to Raven who immediately looks away. Tristan chuckles once more and writes the measurements down on his phone before sending it to Jamie

“Is everyone still just roaming around?” Tristan asks and Raven nods her head

“What about you? You're not gonna roam around?” Tristan asked again and he went back to his seat

“Well I wanted to... But the skirt keeps rising everytime I pull it down” Raven replied and Tristan chokes on air as he heard how it was worded

“I see... Well you can stay here for now and we'll wait until Ms.Park comes back” Tristan said and Raven politely nods her head and sits on the couch that Tristan was sitting on, they were on total opposites of the couch as Tristan was sat on one end and Raven on the other

“Is there anything you wanna watch?” Tristan asks and Raven looks at him

“He's acting like yesterday... He's being polite and sweet again…” Raven thinks before looking at the remote that Tristan was handing to her

“Pick a movie... I need to check some documents on my phone first” Tristan says and Raven grabs the remote from his hand

Tristan looks down on his phone and browses through the documents that were sent over to him. Raven on the other hand points the remote to the big screen, she scrolls down and she sees a familiar logo

“Should I... Put it to this?” She asks as she turns to Tristan who was still browsing his phone

“Yeah just put it on and pick from there” Tristan replies and Raven looks back at the TV, she presses on the remote and it opens the app

Her eyes immediately land on the “Recently Watched” and clears her throat as she reads the titles of the things that were on there... The most recent being was an adult romance show... Tristan finishes looking through his emails and lifts his head up, his eyes widened as he saw what was on the TV and instantly turns to Raven

“Shit! I'm so sorry I didn't know that it was still there…” Tristan panics and he tries to grab the remote from Raven which startled the latter girl, Tristan loses his balance and he tries to catch himself from the fall as Raven fell backwards from getting shocked, leaving them in an awkward position... What's even more awkward is that both their eyes widened as they heard noises coming out of the speaker

“I’m sorry... I didn't mean to—”
