'Maybe, we would definitely die here,' Kezav mumbled in panic.

I shook my head lightly, hoping that wouldn’t happen. I really hoped that my mates found me quickly. If they were arguing as usual, it would be more difficult to do, so they mustn’t fight, but cooperate with each other.

I swallowed hard as the pain in my wrists intensified and my eyes swarm in circles. I was so damn hungry and thirsty, but I didn’t want to eat a thing. I wondered if the elders would serve me poison or something. It would really be a waste. I still wanted to see my mates once more, and tell them how much I loved them, and hoped they would not separate me from themselves.

Those thoughts died a natural death as the door suddenly creaked open. The faces of the elders were so hazy, but I knew they were coming towards me.

"Shut up!" They screamed suddenly.

I had not realised that I had been speaking at all. I sighed as I was pulled harshly up, my wrists slowly disintegrated from my own body.
