"Drive faster, please," I whispered to the driver.

Oh, goddess! I really hoped I was doing the right thing by coming out alone. I turned back a bit and noted that a black, unmarked car was following me. It should probably be one of the guards who decided to protect me discreetly. There was nothing that escaped their eyes sometimes, and I was well aware that things could get rough in the near future. So, it was okay if they actually came along.

With a sigh, I shifted my gaze to the front, watching as the buildings moved past us with speed. There was literally no one on the road considering how early it was, and I found it so refreshing. Since I realised that the Alphas were my mates, I had not had a moment’s rest. But, now, this would make me forget everything that was happening in my life. It was just perfect.

"Luna, we would be there in about 10 minutes. Please hold the seatbelt properly," the driver advised as he drove.
