I watched as Lucian went out of the house, and it made me realize that our relationship was getting strained, but what could I do to change that? Nothing for now. I just needed to let things take its course. I sighed as I made my way up the stairs. Likewise, I had more pressing issues to handle. There must be a way to talk to Andrea, about what happened this morning. I couldn't just leave things like that.

Rubbing at my stubble, I took two steps at a time. The pounding of my heart against my rib cage almost made me deaf. I need to be calm to think straight. I could do this, and stop being so fidgety.
