130, THE TRUTH

My head was full, and I was the first one to storm out of the meeting room. It had been too annoying with everyone truing to get into my head, and tell me what was supposedly the best for me. I didn't want to know about all that, but get to the root of my problems. They would be the only thing to keep my bearings right.

I pulled my phone from my back pocket, and sent an emergency notification to the men on my private list. There was something wrong with the way none of our search had brought results, but this wouldn't happen any more.

Quickly, I walked into my office at the back of the pack house. It felt so cold in here because I didn't use it often. But, it was the only place that I trusted right now.

A knock sounded at the door, and I calmly went over to the couch, switching on the blue light beside it. The office was spotlessly clean as always thanks to the maids who tendered to it. It made me feel so lush and special all at once.
