Carmen's POV

Sounds of shattering enveloped the whole chamber as the vase came in contact with the strong wall. Despite its weight, I threw it with all my strength. I was so angry, worried and terrified.

I had broken a lot of things in the chamber. Yet, I was still worried. I was hooked just like a fish caught by hook and line, no chance of escape. I had dropped a message for the guard that was working as Alpha Mark's spy but I hadn't heard from him, for minutes.

'Is he also a part of this? Could Alpha Mark really use and dispose me off just like that? Are all his words lie? So the love he claims he has for me, is it fake? Then how does he make it seems so real?'
