Human realm.

“Was that why you don’t have a wife?” I asked Richard out of curiosity.

“Yes, it turns out they would all want to try all their best to secure a child for w so they can have access to my property but it doesn’t work out and when they complain to me I have no choice but to tell them the truth that I am infertile.” He said trying his best to hold in the tears I could feel coming from his voice.

“They all end up leaving.” I whispered feeling even more bad that I had to ask.

“Even if the decide to stay, they only stare for the money it some of them still want a child with me as they find all the wealth meaningless if there isn’t a child to spend it on.” He replied me, I sat up and tapped his shoulder gently in an attempt to cool him down.

“No one loves me, all they want is the money that’s why sometimes I always wished I could get the chance to pick how my destiny would go and this time I would throw away all the wealth and stick to having a child of my own. A child I could proudly call mine.”

“I am sorry I had to ask, I did t k who you were passing through all this.” I said to him, feeling more and more guilty as I said the word.

He slowly cleaned the tears off his eyes and turned to me.

“But you, you changed everything…ever since you came into my life you taught me nothing but true friendship and now you hav eke the privilege of knowing how precious it is to be called a father.” He said but instead of feeling happy I felt like I was stabbing him in the back, as I was more than aware that one day Avalor would come back to get me and his unborn children as I wondered what would happen to Richard then.

“I didn’t do anything to deserve such praise.” I said to him, he chuckled before pulling me in for a tight hug.

“You don’t know it, but my life has changed for the better since I met you and I don’t regret it one bit.” He said to me,

“Even if you have to leave tomorrow that won’t stop me from living today to the most because It’s worth the while.” He said to me, making me suddenly feel more energetic, he was right. I might not be able to pay him back but I could at least make him happy.

As the doctor discharged me from the hospital, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions swirling within me. The news of carrying triplets was still sinking in, but now there was something else weighing on my mind - Richard's revelation about his infertility. It broke my heart to see the pain he carried, the burden of being unable to have a child of his own.

Once we returned home, I made a decision. I would treat Richard as the father of my unborn children, proudly acknowledging him in every way. I wanted to bring him joy and happiness, to show him that he was loved and cherished, even if it couldn't be in the traditional sense.

In the following days, I walked into the company with confidence, my head held high. I could feel the whispers and judgment from some of my colleagues, but I refused to let it affect me. I knew who I was and what was important to me.

I made a conscious effort to involve Richard in every aspect of my pregnancy. We attended doctor's appointments together, laughed at the ultrasound images, and discussed baby names. We embraced the journey of parenthood as a team, supporting each other every step of the way.

In the office, I proudly introduced Richard as the father of my triplets. I could see the surprise and confusion on people's faces, but I didn't let it bother me. Their opinions didn't matter. What mattered was the love and support that Richard provided, and the happiness he brought into my life.

As the days turned into weeks, my bond with Richard grew stronger. We shared moments of joy and excitement, and he was there to comfort me during the challenging times. We painted the nursery together, chose adorable baby clothes, and planned for the future as a family.

With my pregnancy progressing and the news of expecting triplets out, I found myself immersed in a new project at work. Determined to prove my capabilities, I set my sights on securing a contract with overseas clients. It would not only boost the company's reputation but also provide stability for my growing family.

I spent countless hours researching the needs and preferences of the potential clients, preparing proposals, and fine-tuning my presentation skills. Richard, always supportive, offered his expertise and guidance whenever I needed it. Together, we formed a formidable team.

As the day of the meeting with the overseas clients approached, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. This was a crucial opportunity, and I wanted to make a lasting impression. The morning of the meeting, I dressed in my most professional attire and rehearsed my pitch one last time.

Walking into the meeting room, I greeted the clients with confidence and professionalism. I presented our company's strengths, highlighting our track record of success and our commitment to delivering quality results. I showcased our innovative ideas and how they would benefit their business.

I might be a slave and a nobody in the werewolf world but I was more than ready to be well known here in the human realm, I was ready to leave a mark here before any tragic incident occurred…I could feel it in me that something I wasn’t expecting was coming but I was not ready to back down yet…I was more than ready to face even Alpha Avalor head on if he ever tried to trace me.
