Lucas's reappearance

“He followed me!!” Avalor yelled in annoyance, he couldn’t believe Lucas had the guts to follow here to the human world despite him being the reason why a war is brewing up in his pack.

“That bastard still outsmarted me despite me giving him a second chance and not killing him!” Avalor yelled and Sam noticed he was slowly getting angry.

Avalor's anger flared, his fists clenched tightly as he seethed with frustration. Lucas, the betrayer who had caused so much turmoil in their pack, had somehow managed to follow Avalor into the human world. It was a blatant disregard for the dangers he had unleashed and the potential war that was brewing.

Sam quickly stepped closer to Avalor, his voice calm but firm. "Alpha Avalor, I understand your anger, but getting worked up won't solve anything. We need to focus on understanding why Lucas is here and what his intentions are."

Avalor took a deep breath, trying to reign in his anger. "How is it possible?" he muttered, his mind racing to find an explanation. "How could Lucas have tracked us and disguised his scent like Melissa's for weeks?"

Sam furrowed his brows, deep in thought. "There must be more to Lucas than we initially thought," he said, his voice filled with determination. "He must have some hidden abilities or connections that allowed him to accomplish this."

Avalor's eyes narrowed as he considered Sam's words. The thought of Lucas having unknown skills was unsettling, but it also gave them an opportunity to gather more information and potentially outwit him.

Suddenly, Sam suggested, "We should chase after Lucas, confront him, and demand answers. It's the best way to get the truth out of him."

Avalor shook his head, a determined glint in his eyes. "No, Sam. I have another plan in mind. Chasing after him would only alert him to our presence and potentially put us at a disadvantage. We need to be strategic and gather more information before we make our move."

Sam studied Avalor for a moment, realizing the alpha had a plan brewing in his mind. "What do you have in mind, Avalor?" he asked, curiosity lacing his voice.

“We need to trace him to wherever his hideout is, I always said it from the start that Lucas kidnapped Melissa but everyone including his father I was just trying to blame everything on Lucas but now I know I was right all along.”

“He brought her to the human realm and removed every traces of her being alive and now he doesn’t want me to find her so he is making me pursue her scent far away from where she actually is. He is trying to outsmart in my own game too bad he won’t last for long.” Avalor said to Sam who scoffed.

“That asshole how can try to play such tricks on is? If I had not try to see everything from a different perspective we could have juts ended up going around in circles and still unable to find her.” Sam said as he stomped back to were tha car was.

Meanwhile, Lucas ran through the dark alleyways, his heart pounding in his chest. He could feel the presence of Avalor and Sam closing in on him, but he remained confident in his ability to outwit them. He had spent weeks carefully planning his escape and ensuring that Melissa would remain hidden from Avalor's grasp.

Lucas reached his hideout, a rundown warehouse on the outskirts of the city. He slipped inside, his mind racing with thoughts of his next move. He knew he couldn't stay in one place for too long, as Avalor's determination was relentless.

Inside the warehouse, Lucas had set up a makeshift living space. He had gathered supplies, food, and clothing to sustain himself. He had also taken precautions to mask his scents, making it nearly impossible for Avalor to track him.

A sinister grin spread across Lucas's face as he thought about how he had manipulated everyone, including Avalor. He had carefully orchestrated events to make it seem like Melissa had betrayed the pack, all the while ensuring that she remained safe and hidden from Avalor's reach.

He stared around the warehouse in satisfaction as he layed on the chair he made his bed, he might be miserable here but he was more than ready to make Alpha Avalor more miserable and if finding Melissa was his chance at happiness then he won’t let them meet he would continue to follow behind them and using his necklace to change the direction of Melissa scent, but after laughing to his own thoughts he suddenly wondered if Melissa was actually alive in the human world or was he just so busy tricking Avalor that he forgot to check if Melissa was actually alive.

“Could she possibly be alive?” Lucas asked himself but then chuckle and layed back on his sofa.

“She can’t possibly be alive or even survive in the human realm.” He said to himself feeling relaxed yet again.

Lucas lounged on the sofa in his makeshift hideout, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over him. He had successfully deceived Avalor and kept Melissa hidden from him. He believed he had outsmarted everyone and secured his own happiness.

As he relaxed, his senses suddenly heightened, and a familiar scent wafted into his nostrils. It was the unmistakable scent of Melissa, and this time, it was stronger and more potent than before. Lucas's heart skipped a beat as realization dawned on him—Melissa was truly alive and nearby.

“It can’t be!” He yelled I shock as he stood up immediately, he looked at the necklace locked up in a jar and knew it wasn’t the blood but this time the actual Melissa was alive and not just that she was close by.

“Avalor can’t find her…I need to find her first and if she is of no use to me I would kill her, she can’t just roam around freely after everything that happened.”
