Kai kept looking at me as if he was seeing me for the first time or I was some kind of weird fantasy creature. He had been acting weird since he woke up this morning, and I wasn't sure why.

"Kai, you are barely eating!" I scolded him.

Kai put the Turkey leg down and stared at me. He smiled warmly and acted as if he wanted to tell me something but then stopped.

"What's the matter now?" I asked.

"Nothing. You are just so beautiful," he said, looking at me with dreamy eyes. "I will never ever take you for granted ever again."

I rolled my eyes. Seriously? Now he was just being cheesy.

"Okay...then. Since when are you such a romantic?" I said.

Kai frowned. "Why is it bothering you? I'll act however you want me to act. Just tell me what you like, pet."
