How much of Lindsey's memory did Selene erase? It seemed that she remembered Alvis completely, but not as her mate, but as a friend. But her children? They seemed to be more than just a forgotten memory. Is this what they call the mother's love?

I watched her play with the children, and jealousy filled my heart. Children were something I couldn't give her. Alvis gave her that, but I snatched it away from her.

Okay, so what if I didn't do it on purpose, but it still happened, and I felt responsible.

As I watched from a distance, Lindsey sat on the grassy lawn, surrounded by toys and giggling twin boys. Andrew and Rhys were playing with her hair, twirling it around their small fingers, as Lindsey smiled lovingly at them. Her eyes sparkled with happiness, and she seemed to be completely engrossed in the moment.

The boys snuggled close to her, and Lindsey wrapped her arms around them, pulling them in for a warm embrace. They laughed and squirmed, enjoying the comfort of their mother's
