Chapter 78

Liam’s POV

Adira was bleeding too much from the small wound that she had taken by Racheal. Something wasn’t right about the wound as I watched her double over from the pain and I quickly picked her up in my arms and yelled at the pack doctor to leave Racheal where she lay and to follow me.

Racing into the packhouse I moved towards the infirmary knowing something was definitely wrong as the blood now completely soaked through my shirt she had on and was now coating my skin as I carried her. Adira’s eyes looked up at me and I could see her fading away in my arms from the loss of blood. “Stay with me love.” I said to her as I entered the infirmary and laid her down on a bed.

Stella and Alpha Zane were right on my heels with the doctor in tow and Stella moved quickly to Adira’s side. I could tell she was assessing her as she lifts up the shirt to look at the wound that was clearly not healing and looked to be blackening around the edges.
