Andrew paced the length of his apartment, his mind racing. The high from his confrontation with Isabella had started to fade, and now he was left with a feeling of urgency. He couldn’t just sit and wait for Isabella to come around. The regret, the apology act—it would only go so far. There was no further reaction from her side. It's no working as he planned. If he really wanted to drive a wedge between Isabella and David, he needed to think bigger. He needed something that would shake her to the core.

He paused at the window, staring out at the city below. His thoughts circled around one idea, one person who stood in the way more than anyone, Sebastian, Isabella’s father. It was all his fault.

'That old man had snatched my Isabella from me. It was him, who brought David between our bond.'
