XANDER’S POV

The next morning, I got up early and drove straight to the police station. I walked in and approached the front desk, where a tired-looking officer was sitting.

"I need to speak to someone in charge, it's urgent," I said, trying to keep my voice steady.

The officer looked up at me, slightly annoyed. "What's this about?" he asked.

"It's about a major drug deal going down tonight. I have information, but it needs to be kept confidential. I can't risk this getting out," I explained.

He looked at me skeptically but then nodded.

"Wait here," he said, and picked up the phone to make a call. A few minutes later, a stern-looking detective walked over.

"I'm Detective Harris. What do you have for me?" he asked, his eyes piercing as he studied me.

I took a deep breath and explained everything I had overheard at the warehouse. I told him about the time and place of the drug delivery, and how Matt was planning to oversee the transaction himself.
