SASHA’S POV

I sat in the living room of Xander's house, staring at the ornate ceiling. The place was filled with expensive furniture and priceless art.

I still couldn’t believe Xander would report me to the police. It was the final confirmation for me that he hated me deeply.

I felt a knot of anger and betrayal in my stomach. How can he betray me so easily, I wanted to get back at him and destroy him in a way but there was nothing I could do.

He believed in doing clean business without getting his hands dirty so I couldn’t even expose his company to the police for fraud.

I knew I had to act fast before I left this house with nothing. It won’t be long now before he finds a reason to throw me out from their lives forever and bar me from entering this magnificent house of theirs.

I was still able to live in their home because his mom trusted me and had blind faith in me convinced I wasn’t that type of person. If she found out the recording was true she’d throw me out immediately.
