ADELINE’S POV

I woke up happy. After being under house arrest for a month, waking up knowing I could go anywhere I wanted felt like such a huge blessing.

The morning sun streamed through my windows, casting a warm glow on everything it touched. I stretched, feeling more alive than I had in weeks. Today was important, and I wanted to look my best.

I chose my favorite corporate outfit, a tailored navy blue suit, a crisp white blouse, and black heels. The suit hugged my figure perfectly, making me feel powerful and confident.

I put on light makeup, just enough to enhance my features, and styled my hair in loose waves. A final look in the mirror told me I was ready for the day.

My heart raced with excitement as I grabbed my keys and headed out. My car was waiting for me, and as I slid into the driver’s seat, a sense of freedom washed over me. I started the engine and drove to my company.

I didn’t like the way Adeline was treated but I do not approve of revenge. She has a company she didn’t need to buy shares in her father’s company.
