Chapter 6.

CHAPTER 6.

Alexis is now eating the mangoes that Aitan get for her. She loves these mangoes because they are now ripe and sweet. She's eating them happily while Aitan is watching her silently.

"This will be more delicious if I have a bagoong dip." Alexis commented while eating the mango.

"Do you want one?" She asked him and gave him a mango. He shook his head sideways then just continue watching her eat.

"I don't like mangoes. But I'm enjoying to watch you eat while you're smiling like that." He answered her. She stopped herself from eating and looked at her.

"W-what?!" She asked him. She's asking herself if she heard him right or she was just hearing things that she shouldn't hear?

"I'm enjoying watching you eat while you're smiling like that." He repeated. Her face heats up because of his commented and also because of embarrassment.

"Why your face turned to red?" He asked her innocently. Alexis shook her head sideways and she continue on eating the mangoes while forgetting what he said.

"You're too weird. I really don't understand women." He commented with a frown and she didn't mind him and just eat.

She already finished eating all of the mangoes and she cleaned her hands using wet wipes. She looked at Aitan who's sitting beside her.

"What?" He asked her with a frown.

Why he is always frowning? He's really not a friendly person and I hate that. Alexis commented in her mind.

"Why are you always frowning at me? What did I do to you?" She asked him for her to know what's wrong.

"Nothing. I was just too scornful with myself. Because I did something wrong, they made me wear this fucking collar." He answered.

"What did you do anyway?"

"I was being disrespectful to you. Even though, we just met yesterday." He answered. Alexis nodded when she remembered him being so rude to her.

"I'm really happy that you know that. You're too rude to me yesterday." She commented at him.

"I'm so sorry about that. I was not used with women." He explained. Alexis smiled when she saw the collar on his neck again.

"But I love the collar though. It suits you. You look like a submissive person because of that." She teased him and he glared at her.

"Shut up. I'm not a submissive person and I am a dominant one." He stated and she laughed at him.

He's too cute right now. He looks like a nice person because of this. I think we can be friends now. She commented in her mind.

"I don't like understandings with another person most especially that we are living in the same house. I want to be friends with you." She said.

"Can we be friends? I hate conflicts so, if I did something wrong, please tell me immediately." She added to him.

"Fine. I hate conflicts too most especially that my brothers will be siding on you and not me." He answered.

Alexis stretched her hand to shake hands with him as a sign of their friendship. He grabbed her hand and shakes it. She smiled at her.

"Now, we're friends." She commented and let go of his hands. She thinks that he's really a nice guy when she learned more about him.

"I think; I have to go back to my room. I have a lot of assignments to do." She told him and stood up.

She grabbed her things and walked inside the house. She went to her room to wash up and take a rest first before doing her assignments.

Aitan just watched her walked away from him and he held the collar on his neck. He smiled and he didn't know the reason why.

"Why am I fucking happy when she said that she wants to be friends with me?" He asked himself then stood up.

He cleaned the trash from the mangoes while thinking about his feelings. He really didn't know why he felt so happy.

While Aitan is cleaning all of the trash from the mangoes, Don is watching him from the veranda and smiled.

"This kid will have his own medicine soon. I just wished that he won't hurt her though." He commented.

"I should watch them just to be sure that they are both safe." He added then went inside his room to research some healthy juice for Alexis.

Alexis already finished taking a bath and she sat down to her bed to rest for a while when she saw someone standing in the mirror.

She's really inside the mirror and she can't still see her face. Who is she and why is she showing herself to Alexis?

Is this place haunted? Alexis asked.

She stood up from the bed to go outside the room and tell everyone about the lady when she suddenly passed out again.

Alexis woke up in the unfamiliar room again. She sat down to the bed and look around again. Just like the first time she was here, she didn't see anyone.

Why am I here again? Since living here in this place, I'm always ending up seeing a lady then passing out then after that, I'm here.

Why is this happening to me now? I'm so scared because of this.

Alexis' thoughts are now getting the best of her again because she's so confused with everything now.

She has a lot of questions but no answers. She wants to live here just like a normal person but she can't.

She wants to be happy and free but because of what's happening to her lately, she's feeling scared and nervous now.

"Don't be scared, my dear Ophelia. You're safe here with me." She heard a woman's voice again. But this time, she saw her in front of her.

Alexis can see her face now. She's smiling at her then sat down on the bed. She put some of Alexis' hair on the back of her ear.

"I'm happy to finally see you, my dear Ophelia." The woman said. She held Alexis in her arms and she let her.

Her embrace is so familiar and she feels like, she misses it so much. A tear fell from her eye and she didn't know the reason why.

"Don't worry, you're fine. You're safe here. We're here with you." The woman whispered. She petted Alexis' hair and she enjoyed it.

Alexis leaned towards her chest more to let the woman pet her hair more. Alexis is enjoying everything that the woman is doing to her now. She wants more of it.

"Who are you?" Alexis asked the woman. "You don't have to know me for now." The woman answered her.

"You still don't remember anything from your past and I'll wait for you to remember it on your own." She added.

"Why don't you just tell me?" Alexis looked up at her. The woman is still smiling at her while petting her hair.

"Because I don't want to trigger the real you if I told you the truth now. It's too dangerous." The woman explained.

Even though Alexis didn't understand anything, she just nodded at the woman and didn't ask anything further about the topic.

Alexis has no idea but, she wants to trust her about this. She'll let her questions unanswered for now while she's enjoying the woman's hand while caressing her hair.

"Thank you for understanding the situation for now, my dear Ophelia. I'll explain everything to you if you remember something already." The woman stated and Alexis nodded at her.

Alexis closed her eyes while enjoying being petted by her until she fell asleep within her warm and peaceful embrace.
