Chapter 9.

CHAPTER 9.

Alexis and Aitan are still drinking teas silently when Ares went inside Alexis' room. He smiled then sat down on the sofa.

"How are you, Alexis? I heard that you passed out again." Ares asked. "I'm fine. I only need some rest." She answered.

"You can go to the garden to have some fresh air. Acario already told your professor why you're absent right now." He explained.

"I see. Thank you and sorry for disturbing you." Alexis said. "Don't worry. Everything is fine." Ares answered.

"I'll be guarding her while she's having some fresh air in the garden." Aitan said and Ares nodded.

"Just make sure that you're not going to hurt her or else, we'll put that collar on you again." Ares commented and Alexis laughed.

Aitan frowned at Ares because of his statement. Alexis remember that collar and she really likes it.

"Hey, can I borrow that collar? I want to try it." Alexis commented with a smile while Ares and Aitan look at each other.

"No... You can't borrow it." Alexis pouted and frowned. "Why I can borrow it? I want to try it." Alexis stated.

"You're not allowed to try that Alexis. Or else, Acario will be mad at us." Ares explained and she just nodded at them.

"Fine..." Alexis answer in defeat then continue drinking her tea.

There's a black cat who's walking on the garden of the mansion when, he got tangled on the vines. It tried to get away but, can't.

"Meow!" The black cat cried for help then a white cat arrived and bit the vines to help the black cat out of the vines.

"Meow!"

"Meow!"

The black cat cried repeatedly while the white cat did everything to let him go from being tangled on the vines.

Alexis is here in the garden to have some fresh air with Aitan. Alexis is watching the fishes on the pond because all of them has different colors.

"The fishes here are really beautiful, Aitan. I wonder where you bought this though." She stated then Aitan looked at the pond.

"Don really loves animals. He's the one who bought them before for us to have fishes on the pond." Aitan explained.

"I see. I wonder I can take care of some animals too? I want to have a pet since I was a kid but I didn't know if I can." She stated.

"What kind of pet do you want?"

"I want a dog or a cat. Dogs seems so affectionate while cats seem so possessive. That's why I like them." Alexis answered.

"Meow!" Alexis and Aitan both looked at the direction of the noise. They both went to that direction then they saw a cat being tangled on the vines.

"Oh, no! The cat!" Alexis stated then went towards the cat and help it to get away from the vines. While helping the cat, the cat scratched Alexis' hand.

"Aw!" Alexis' eyes became red and Aitan's eyes widen in shock when he sees that.

"No! Wait, Alexis!" Aitan immediately went towards her then grabbed the cat away from her.

"Go, hide from her now before she kills you." The cat run away and hid on the bushes. Aitan looked at Alexis when she stood up.

She looked at his way then he saw her demon features. She looks so scary right now and Aitan is very nervous.

"P-please, calm down. Please, go back to your normal self, Alexis. You're safe here." Aitan stated then he took a step backwards.

"You... again..." Alexis stated coldly. Aitan gulped nervously and Ares went towards their place. He was shocked to see Alexis.

"What happened?! What did you do this time, Aitan?!" Ares asked. "I didn't do anything!" Aitan exclaimed.

Alexis attacked them they both dodge. Alexis used her water power to attack then and Ares used a barrier.

Aitan attack her using leaves and it blocked Alexis. Alexis attacked the leaves using water and she attack them with a tornado.

"Whoa! Wait!" Ares was about to use a barrier again when Aitan used vines to stop Alexis from moving.

"Release me!" Alexis screamed then Acario and the others arrived at their place. They all went towards Alexis and Alric used a sleeping magic on her.

Alexis went back to normal and Don caught her when she was about to fall.  All of them looked at Aitan and Ares.

"What happened?" Acario asked. "We saw cat that needs help so she helps it." Aitan stated. He went towards Alexis to see her hand and arm.

"But, when she's trying to help it, she was scratched and that happened." Aitan added when he saw a scratch n Alexis' hand.

"I see... That's what happened, huh?" Alric stated then they went to Alexis' room to lay her down to her bed and treat her hand.

Aitan went to the bushes to see if the cat is still there and it's still there. He knelt down the carried the cat.

"I didn't know that you're here already, Yuko." Aitan commented then the cat only looked him. He caressed the cat's fur then went inside the house.

"I never meant to do that... I never thought that will happen. I'm sorry." A voice said and Aitan just sighed again.

Don lay Alexis down on the bed then put the blanket on her. Alric put down the first aid kit on the bedside table.

He held her hand then treat the scratch. They all looked at the door when someone opened it and they saw Aitan with a cat.

"That's..." Aitan nodded at Ares. The cat jump towards Alexis' bed and sat down there. Alric continued treating Alexis' hand.

"Next time be careful. Or else, she'll kill you." Alric reminded the cat then everyone went out of the room except the cat and Alric.

The brothers except Alric is here in the living room talking about what happened a while ago and thinking of a way to explain to Alexis about the black cat.

"What are we going to tell her about the cat?" Ares asked.

"What are we going to tell her if she doesn't remember anything again?" Ace asked.

"Let's just say that she tried to save the cat from the veranda because he's going to fall then she caught it using her face." Don suggested.

"Is she going to fall for that?" Aitan asked. "Let's just try. Do you have any idea on what to tell her?" Don asked and no one answered him.

They all just sighed then looks down on the floor without saying anything anymore because that's the only idea that they can do for now for Alexis not to be worried anymore.

Alexis woke up then she looks around her. She went back to her room and she don't remember when or how she gets back here.

All she remembers is that she went to the garden with Aitan then after that, she doesn't remember anymore.

She looked at her hand when she felt someone is licking there and she saw a white cat. Alexis sat down on the bed and she carried the cat.

"Where did you come from? How did you came in here?" Alexis asked then she looked for something on the cat.

"You're a boy. But, who's your owner?" She asked when someone opened the door. She looked it and saw Acario.

"Aitan said that you saw the cat then you helped him." Acario explained then sat down on the chair beside the bed.

"Did I passed out again?" Acario nodded. "But you just passed out when you caught that cat because he is falling from the veranda." He answered.

"Really? I only passed out because I caught this cat?" Acario nodded.

"He fell down to your face so, yeah..." Alexis smiled in relief because of what she heard. She's happy to know that there's no serious reason why she passed out again.

"He's a stray cat then?"

"Yeah, he's a stray cat." Acario confirmed. "I'll name you..." Alexis think of a name that he'll give to the white cat.

"Yuko... Is that okay?" The cat licked her fingers then she caressed his head. Alexis has no any idea on why she named the cat 'Yuko'.

All she knows is that the cat and that name is very familiar to her but can't remember where or when did she heard or see it.
