Chapter 7.

CHAPTER 7.

Alexis woke up and she saw that she's back into her room. She sat down on the bed and look around. She looked back to the mirror and the lady that she saw is no longer there.

She held her forehead because of what the woman said. She doesn't want to tell her the truth because she doesn't want to trigger the real her...

But what does she meant by 'real me'? Is there something that I don't know about myself that I should know? Alexis asked herself.

"You okay?" She look at the direction of the voice and she saw Aitan. He's leaning on the wall while looking seriously at Alexis.

"I think I'm not okay. Something's bothering me since living here." Alexis answered him. He walk towards her and sat down to her bed.

"Tell me, what's wrong? I'll listen." He said. Alexis stared at him for minute thinking if she can trust him with this or not. She wish that he'll believe her though.

"Since the first night that I stayed here, I'm seeing a woman that I didn't know. First, I saw her standing in the terrace then next - a while ago, she's inside the mirror." Alexis stated.

"After seeing her, I'm always passing out then when I wake up, I'm in an unfamiliar room. I'm hearing a woman's voice but I can't see her." She added.

"But last night, I saw her beautiful and innocent face. She seems so familiar to me though."

"I see... So, that's that. So, you can't see the woman's face until last night, huh?" Aitan commented while nodding.

"Did she do something to you? I mean, did she hurt you?" Alexis shook her head sideways as an answer to him.

"She's just telling me not to be scared and also she's telling me that I'm safe here. I'm safe with her." She answered him. He held her cheeks and smile softly.

"Don't worry, you're safe here. I promise you. I'll protect you." He declared then caressed her cheeks. She smiled at him.

"Thank you." She stated. They both looked at the door when someone opened it and they saw Acario and Alric. They both went inside the room.

"Something wrong?" Alexis asked them. "Just checking if Aitan did something wrong to you again." Acario answered.

"I see. I understand and he's not doing anything wrong to me." She stated. "Okay, got that. Just making sure that you're safe from him." Alric stated then they both went out of Alexis' room.

"You're brothers doesn't really trust you." She commented then laughed softly. He frowned again then sighed.

"I have to go now." He said then went out of her room.

Aitan is really nice a guy, I like him though. I want to know more about him. Alexis stated in her mind again.

She shook her head sideways to forget everything what happened last night inside her dream. She can't be bothered about that for the whole day.

She get out from her bed then grabbed her things and sat down on the chair and studied her lessons on the study table.

I should make my day productive other than thinking something that can only make feel crazy.

When Aitan went out from Alexis' room, he immediately saw Alric and Acario leaning on the wall while waiting for him.

"Come with us." Alric stated then Aitan followed them somewhere.

They all arrived in the bar room where Ares and the others are drinking while waiting for them to arrived.

"Why are we here?" Aitan asked. "Did Alexis told you something? We can't read her mind anymore just like before." Acario stated.

"It feels like someone is protecting her thoughts from us." Don commented to all of them.

"She said that she keeps on seeing a woman in her room. First, is in here veranda then second, inside the mirror." Aitan stated.

"After seeing that woman, she passing out suddenly. Then, when she woke up, she's already in an unfamiliar room." He added.

"I see... Maybe that woman is the queen. She just want to see the princess and to be with her." Ares commented.

"Then, let her. As long as she's safe. Act like you know nothing about what's happening to her lately. We don't want trigger her by creeping her out." Alric stated.

They all went out of the bar room then continue their jobs to finish it before dinner time.

"Alexis, let's eat now." She looked back the voice and she saw Don. She panicked when she realized that she forgot her duty in helping him to prepare food.

"Oh, no... I forgot to help you." She stated and stood up. She walk towards him and he just laughed at her.

"Don't worry, I'm not mad at you. I understand that you're studying because you're already a graduating student." He commented.

"Studies are more important than chores so, don't worry. You can help us if you're not that busy with your studies." He added then petted her on her hair.

"Thank you and I'm very sorry." He shook his head sideways. They went down to the dining room for them to eat.

They are now eating silently when Ace asked Alexis something.

"How's school?" He asked her. "It's fine. I enjoyed the lesson." She answered him simply.

"Did they discussed about Greek Mythologies?" Ares asked and Alexis shook her head sideways. He sighed.

"Why are they not discussing that interesting topic? That's why I hate school." She laughed softly because of his reaction.

He's just like a little kid becase of his attitude right now. I'm enjoying his innocent reaction right now. Alexis commented in her mind.

"She's taking HRM program and not a program about Greek Mythologies. I even had no idea if they had a program for that." Alric commented.

"Damn. I hate this." Ares pouted then continue to eat. They ate our dinner silently again.

While eating, Alexis remembered a book that she saw before in a mall. She smiled when she decided to buy that as a gift for Ares.

"I'm going somewhere this coming Saturday. Is that okay?" Alexis asked them. "Yes, of course. Just be careful." Acario answered.

Alexis smiled and ate her dinner happily while thinking of a gift that she can give them as thanks for letting her stay to the mansion.

Alexis is walking towards her room when she looked at the painting of a family. She stared at it then she saw the woman in her dreams.

"So, she's here, huh?" She whispered. Are they the owner of this house or they are the parents and little sister of the six brothers here?

"Alexis!" She looked at Ares when he called her. He ran towards her and looked at the painting again that she was looking to ask him about them.

"The De Luca family."

"What? De Luca?" Alexis thought that they have a the same surname. She looked back at the painting when she learned that.

"De Luca...?" She held my head when she felt pain. "Alexis?! Hey, are you okay?!" She heard Ares asked but she didn't answered him.

"Hey! Alric! Alric, I need help!" Ares ran away to call Alric. Alexis is now starting to lose consciousness. She knelt down on the floor then everything went black.

When Ares went back to Alexis' place with Alric, they both saw her laying on the floor unconcious. They both ran towards her and Ares carried her.

"Let's go to her room." Alric said then they went to Alexis' room. Ares lay her down to her bed and Alric started to check her up.

Alexis woke up and look at the person who's hugging her and she saw the woman. She's hugging her tightly while caressing her hair.

"Do you still feel the pain?" Alexis shook her head sideways. "No. I don't feel any pain anymore." She answered softly.

"De Luca... Who are you, really?" Alwxis asked the woman. "Don't ask me for now. You need rest." The woman answered her while avoiding her question.

"Why are you always avoiding my questions? I really want to know everything now." Alexis said. The woman stopped caressing Alexis' hair.

"I'll tell you one at a time, is that okay?"

"Yes. As long as you're going to tell me everything that I want to know. It's my right to know everything." Alexis said.

"You are my daughter, my dear Ophelia."
