2 - My Twisted Life

Nivi's pov

When I came  back to my home town Delhi from my work place not even in my dreams I thought that my life will take a u turn like this.

There were many things running inside me when I came to Delhi. Planning was like come to home take my belongings, my bank account documents and some of my personal things and all. After packing them I just wanted to go back forever from my house but that never happened.

When I get to know about my father's condition my return got delayed. When my sister Avantika begged me to help her with business again it got delayed. Everything was  in mess. But I was determined about  going back from where I came . I was afraid that if my return got delayed again and again then something bad would happen.

" Nivi I know I was never good to you but other than you no one can save us from this misery. " That was the first time my step mom talked to me more like begging to me.

" No I can't marry anyone don't even think about a business marriage. If you have that much problem then let Avantika get married with that man" I yelled at her while packing my bag

" I would happily married him but what to say he is smitten by you. " Avantika spatted out who was leaning towards my room door

" You are a fool Nivi. I mean who doesn't want to marry the most eligible, handsome and rich Siddarth Singh Khurana? Have you seen him ? Oh my God he is other version of a Greek god or something. Every girls are behind him just for a look from him and here you got a chance to become Mrs Khurana but what to say?  you don't know which is the real gem. " She scoffed at me and walked from there.

" You also seen our condition. Our business is getting bad , account balance is getting low, debts are also increasing day by day if you say yes to this marriage all these problem can be solved. You also want to see your dad out from that wheel chair right? What all things he did for you even hiding from me Nivi? You don't want to repay them back ? " Emotional black mail that's what exactly it is.

But why I am falling for it? That old Nivi never fell for such stupid things now falling for it.  I am weak now. I lost all hope in my life but only reason I am living  is a stupid promise I gave to someone which I want to full fill at any cost. After that promise death is the path I choose.

" Nivi... Okay I understood. If you don't want to get married it's okay fine but please visit Siddarth for once and say that you are not interested. If I say that through phone he might feel bad which will be enough for next mishaps. Today evening at coffee day cafe he will be waiting for your reply " after saying this she went out from my room.

I stopped my packing and sat on bed in a dilemma. I was staring at my bag. Someone's life is at halt and if I go now I can save that life my family will suffer. But I don't go that life must be in danger.

I wanted to cry and curse at that one man who put me in this misery. Finally I decided to meet the great Khurana boy Siddarth Singh Khurana. I took the magazine which Avantika gave me to show his photo. He is handsome in all ways but for me he wasn't the most.

Each step I took towards the cafe I chanted my reply will be no. What ever he says I won't agree to this marriage. But those eyes it was captivating. I tired not to look at them because it looks same. Siddarth was confident but I wasn't. Whatever he said it gives logic but not mine. He was soft, lovable a true gentleman in all aspects but still my mind said this is not right. 

" you are really beautiful Nivi...... oh I am sorry Actually it slipped out accidentally. I heard your mom addressing you as Nivi that's why " when this man sitting in front of me who is handsome and damn hot addressed me as Nivi all those  hatred with which I came to meet him blown away. My eyes becomes soft and wet. I quickly put my head down and looked at floor to hide those stupid tears.

Siddarth Singh Khurana, most prominent business tycoon of South Asia.Current head of Khurana's business empire. Most eligible bachelor, youngest and successful business man.

" I think I can't even imagine any other girl beside me as my bride other than you "  his deep husky voice made a tingling sensation all over my body. why this is happening to me?

I came to say a no for this marriage whoever he is. I stopped dreaming about my future then why I am having second thoughts now.? He remembers me of a person whom I really miss. The way he called my name as Nivi was enough for me to break that stone wall inside my heart.

" Nivedita look at me once." I slowly raised my head and met his dark eyes

" I promise you I won't let you regret this marriage. I will give all happiness to you. At first it was just a business marriage for me but after meeting you I got admired by your simplicity. please say yes" he looked at me with those hopeful eyes.

I didn't say anything but I nod my head as yes and he was overwhelmed by my yes.

" thank you, thank you so much " he held my both hands and said. Like that I agreed to that marriage thinking everything will be solved by this. But it was the starting  of every problem. That one marriage made my life into a living hell.

My stupid mind thought getting Khurana's on my side can be a help for me in different ways to complete my task but no, now I think I won't be able to get out from this monster's hands other than as a dead body.

I should have ran off from my marriage when I sensed all the weird things. My marriage wasn't any exaggerated one. There was only Siddarth,me, Avantika, my dad, my step mom and most funny part Siddarth's manager. He was the only one from his side as his family to sign in witness box. The great Khurana family didn't attend their youngest heir's marriage. He gave me a convincing answer me for that.

" We are keeping a huge function outside India. My mom and others are planning for everything. But this register marriage is my idea because I can't wait till that day without you Nivi " like  every girl I blushed like a stupid. His sound and my name Nivi from his mouth, those eyes these two are bounding me with him

Everyone went back and finally I took my first step to the hell Khurana mansion. Not even in my dreams I thought that gate and that huge door which closed behind me never opens  again. Not even a single creature in that family was welcoming me. Each and every faces showed some kind of anger, disgust, jinxing especially Siddarth's mom or my mother in law. Her death glare was like she already killed me with that. When I bend to take blessings from her she just walked away from me stomping on that marble floor which was like first blow on my face. Each and every person stood there followed that woman giving me a disgusting look.

I looked at Siddarth whose face Changed into a monster in snap of seconds.

" Follow me " he ordered with an arrogant sound. That voice , those soft eyes for which I agreed to marry him everything vanished into thin air. With all doubts I followed him and there I saw my prison or his bedroom.

" Close the door " he ordered and I did like he said. I was nervous also there was a tint of red appeared on my cheeks due to shyness. But that tint of red changed to five dark red markings with immense pain when I felt his hands on my cheeks.

I was on floor with tears filled eyes and hand pressing to my cheeks. He .... He just slapped me right know for nothing. I was shivering without able to move a bit. But he didn't stopped by that he grabbed me by my hair and dragged to the middle of his room through that cold floor. From that day that spot became my punishment point.

" What are you doing ? What the hell did you do ......" I screamed from my top of lungs but I couldn't complete it before that another smack already imprinted on my cheeks.

I am not a fragile girl to receive whatever he gives me. I stood from floor with all my strength and stared at him. No I don't need this and I won't endure this. He will be that mighty Khurana but for me he is a beast. I walked towards the door to open it but all I felt was a immense pain on my head when he grabbed me back with my hair. He was emotionless , he didn't utter a single word. When he raised his hands to beat me up again I held them with all power even though my strength was not matching up to him. In a snap of seconds he twisted my hands and heard something broken.  He pulled me close to his chest and mumbled on my ears.

" Your fate Changed from the moment you married me. From now on accept that fact. You won't see outer world from this moment because this house is your world now."

" Why are you doing this to me ? What did I do......" I cried with immense pain

" Sh..... Sh...... Sh..... Your can't raise your sound infront of anyone in this house. You are nothing to me or to this family. Live like a ghost " he said those stabbing words to me and that was hurting me like hell.

" Then why did you married me ? If you don't like me then why are you doing this to me ? " I screamed while trying to loose his grip from my hair.

" Because you deserve this. You deserve more than this. Actually your family sold you off to me along with your dad's company. They already fled to somewhere far leaving you behind. so don't think about any helping hand. When I get satisfied, when my family get satisfied we will leave you . When we feel that  you paid for all your sins  then I will leave you if you are breathing but before that don't even think about escaping from here.  Everything belongs to your luck baby....." He pushed me to a side and again caught me with my cheeks squeezing them.

" If your luck stays with you then you will be set free but if it doesn't then prepare to live your life inside jail as a murder " he said with an evil look on his face.

those words are still banging in my ears. For these past six months I am getting all kinds of torture from this family without knowing the reason.

I tried my best to find out the reason but ended up caught by Siddarth and it's after effects are still on my body as permanent marks.

I really hope this night will be the end  of today's torture. Tomorrow it will be a new chapter.
