Chapter 20 Vows and Promises

(Migumi’s POV)

I blinked innocently as enthusiasm glimmered in Prince Aiden’s eyes. The hint of joy on his face tells me that whatever he has to say will surely lift up the mood in our dead silent carriage.

“I would love to hear about your travels,” I agreed. His smile widened.

His eyes sparkled with excitement as he recounted his adventurous travels to me. I heard that he has visited every City in the country in hopes to find his mate. It sounds like a long story ahead.

“Ah, Migumi, you wouldn't believe the culture I’ve seen and the cuisines I’ve enjoyed in my travels,” he began, a smile playing on his lips. “I remember the time I visited the bustling markets of Silverbookshire. There were a lot of exotic foods to try that I’ve never seen before. It turned out to be a haven for merchants who sell weird traditional cuisines to tourists. One of them gave me a bracelet made of shells. I still have it in my closet to this day.”
