Chapter 23 Savior

(Aiden’s POV)

Every individual I walked past in the grand halls of the palace instinctively lowered their heads upon sensing my presence.

For the first five minutes, I greeted each and every one of them with a brief nod, but I eventually got tired of it. There were just so many people in the palace to greet them all one by one. I do appreciate their efforts of paying their respects to me though. It really means a lot to me as a flawed werewolf crown prince.

“Where is the King?” I asked my Beta who is silently tailing me from behind.

I sensed him lowering his head behind me even if I wasn't looking at him. “The King is at the royal council chamber with the Queen, Your Highness,” he answered.

I made my way up to the said chamber where we were greeted by the royal family’s guards. They bowed their heads upon seeing me. I briefly nodded my head to dismiss them including my Beta who stood beside the guards as soon as I raised my hand. I prompted him to wait outside while I entered the room
