Chapter 12 Trying Again

(Migumi’s POV)

Seeing the tear-streak faces of the young civilian werewolves made my heart clenched in pain. Their soft cries were like knives stabbing my chest. I tried to maintain the reassuring smile on my face, but my tears betrayed me.

I wanted to be a pillar of strength for them.

These children are already scared as it is.

I have always known that Alpha Cyrus is evil, but I never imagined that he would stoop so low as to allow his soldiers hunt innocent and defenseless children.

In the past, he used to use prisoners as prey to train his soldiers. He would make them chase after them like savages. If they managed to escape, then they are spared, but if caught, then Alpha Cyrus would be laughing at their severed heads.

That cruel Alpha must have lost for resorting to using children for his wicked training methods. It’s a clear sign of his untreatable fucked up mind.
