I noticed what she said; it seemed she realized I wasn't comfortable being with them. Based on my observation, she was different from the two women who always flaunted their daughters. I smiled at her comment and excused myself before heading to the garden to answer my friend's call.

"Hello?!" I answered, and it was none other than Julius.

"Buddy, are you free right now?" he asked.

I smiled because this was my chance to get away and avoid my mother. "Yeah! Why?" I replied.

"Come meet me at INDAY'S BAR; I don't have anyone with me right now," he said, sighing. It sounded like my friend had some problems, so I immediately asked.

"Do you have problems, Julius?" I inquired, but I only heard another sigh before he answered.

"Aish! It hurts, Buddy," he said, sounding like he was coming from a breakup.

"Okay, I'll come to you," I replied, then hung up.
