Chapter Eighteen

“I know. You don’t have to remind me of who I am or what I am. I just don’t want any of this to happen. If we can stop them now, I think we should. We would see Roland today or tomorrow because the day is gone and after we see him, we would talk about how we can stop them before they sacrifice another boy” Jared said

A knock came on the door

“What?!” He snapped

Xavier walked in

“Sorry to interfere but now of the guards just found another body of a boy. He says the kid was in our training academy and he went missing for a while” Xavier said

“Still think they can be saved?” Alice asked him

“Set up a meeting with Roland for tomorrow morning. I do not want any excuses. We would be going down to the blue moon valley tomorrow” Jared said

Xavier nodded at Jared and he saw him rub his forehead. He only does that when he was stressed. Xavier gave a little bow and headed out.
