CHAPTER FOUR: Jack Mayor

Jack mayor's Pov

I walk down the stairs slowly to walk to the living room where i was told my younger sister who just got back after four years has been waiting for me.

Maureen is the only sister i have and since our mother died when Maureen was three  i have vow to protect her always but i failed on that quest.

I stop short from descending the stairs and look at her. 

I gritted my teeth with annoyance and look away.

" Jack I'm so ..." She began but she didn't finish her sentence before sobbing.

I walk towards her and stood in front of her with an unread Expression.

She took a step back and stifled yet another sob.

She knows I'm extremely mad at her.

I stare hard at her and look toward Laura my nanny, no our nanny.

Both my sister and i has been in care of Laura since my mother's demise.

" Get her clean up please " i said to Laura and walk towards the door.

I couldn't speak to Maureen, i do warn her about going to that man's house but she said she's in love.

" Jack " She called and i halted my hand on the door knob.

I didn't turn or make any move , waiting for her to say something.

" I'm so sorry, i should have listen to you but..." She stop suddenly when i turn to her. I could tell she's very scared of me being angry at her.

I took a step towards her and she step back almost loosing her balance.

I stop but didn't say anything.

I stare at her for a while before turning towards the door and walk out.

I could hear her crying when i went out and Laura consoling her.

She should have known better than coming back after four years.

Did she think she could just ran away with a man against my will and come back years later with broken heart thinking i will accept her with open arms?.

No way, NEVER.

I walk towards my car and sat behind the wheel.

I sat for a long moment griping the wheel as the memory of her sad face came to me.

" What could have happened to make her come back looking so sad? ".

I shook my head wiping away the memories before reviving my car and drove off to my office.

Jillian's Pov

I sat in the living room taking some break after so many stress of modelling.

I just got off the phone with my dad and he has make me promise to visit him next week.

I know if i didn't agree to his request there will be problem after all i have promised him earlier that i will surely visit him.

I signed deeply and scoff to myself as my door flip open and my manager comes in.

I roll my eyes and cross my arms beneath my breast waiting for him to speak.

" He's out there " He said before sitting and I creases my face in surprise.

" Who's out there ? " I asked looking confused.

He replied with his own look of confusion before shrugging.

" Mr Zach " 

He said quietly.

" Ugh ... No " i said clenching my hand into a fist.

This is the only free time i got this week.

" You tell him I'm in ? " I asked larry who look at me as if I'm crazy.

Well maybe i am.

" You think i will lie to him so i can loose my job ?, He's the heir of Claw foot club. " 

" Yeah, you're right." I look at my wristwatch which says 7:47 pm and sign 

" I should be sleeping by now " 

I signed and walk towards the body length mirror to look at my face.

I adjusted my hair and straighten out a wrinkle on my dress before walking out to meet him.

He lean against his car and cross his leg.

One word for Zachary is obviously sexy.

I smile at him as he look towards me.

He walk up to me and pull me into his arm.

I smile and lean against him.

I hope he didn't forget I'm not his girlfriend yet.

I pull out from his embrace and smile at his face.

He was just perfectly made.

His dark hair fitted him perfectly.

" Wanna go out for dinner " he asked.

I look up at the sky and smile.

" Sure, it's a perfect weather but i will only have a drink. If i weigh another pounds my manager will freak out " i said and he laugh.

" Wait here, got to get my purse " i said and he nodded.

I walk in and I'm grateful Larry isn't there i quickly grab my purse looking at myself in the mirror for the last time and satisfied on what i was looking at, I walk outside to meet zach .

He smiles at me.

He was already seated behind the wheel so i took my seat beside him as well.

He look at me briefly before driving away.

" So where would you like to go ? " He asked me.

I laugh softly.

" Where my fans won't be. I don't have the strength to autograph anything " i said resting back.

" Sure, okay. Let's get you somewhere less crowdy. " 

He said and he drove to a quiet restaurant.

I order some juice and he order the same.

We were having a light conversation when his phone buzz , he look at the screen and decline it.

I raised an eyebrow in question and he shrug.

" It's work " he says.

I was about to ask another question when our order arrived.

I titled my head in thought and shrug as well.

Whoever it is i believed it definitely isn't work because i learn he didn't joke with the claw foot club.

" When will you surprise me ? " He asked as he sip his juice.

I smile.

" Surprise ? " I repeated " how do you mean ? " 

" Nevermind , here it's for you " he extended a little box towards me.

I collected it from him curious, i open the box to find a silver necklace with diamond pendant.

I gasped in awe and grin.

" Oh my God, it's so beautiful. " I said.

" Thank you so much Hary " he replied smiling.

I'm so pleased with his gift and he's so nice.

I think i will surely surprise him as well by giving in to his request of wanting to be my man.

But before i accept him, I'm going to inform Diana , Lorie , han and my manager.

We got to plan the surprise.
