Mr Sam stared at me warily before letting out a sigh and he relaxed on the chair.

“I don't have anything to lose anyway. So I'll tell you. But you have to keep your promise.” He pointed a finger at me and I nodded immediately as I sneakily pressed the record button on my phone.

“When your parents came to us for a loan, we asked them for a collateral because the money they demanded for was very huge. They had nothing so they offered to put the house as collateral-”
