OWEN'S POV

My heart pounded ferociously as I shifted in my chair uncomfortably while waiting for the judge to make his judgment.

I watched Catherine closely and I noticed that her calm demeanor was cracking already and honestly, it felt like a small victory. But I couldn't celebrate just yet. The judge had to decide and he was taking forever to come to a conclusion.

Finally, the judge cleared his throat as he glanced up and a lump formed in my throat.

"Miss Wilson, this evidence is clear. The shares were truly sold without following the proper procedures, and from the current state of the company that I see here, I find that Mr Walker has every right to reclaim them."

He adjusted his glasses as he spoke and relief washed over me like a wave. I got my company back. I did it. We did it.

"Additionally." He continued and I immediately glanced up. “You and your client are expected to pay Mr Walker an additional sum of 4 billion dollars in damages, to compensate for the loss of revenue
