CHAPTER FIVE

"You have really developed some balls then" a voice said as the figure emerged from the darkness. The voice sounded familiar, I started to rack my brain where I had heard this voice from.

  "I expected you to also run away like your colleague" he said again as his whole body emerged fully from the darkness.

  I stared at him wide eyed as I suddenly realized who he was. My heart suddenly started beating uncontrollably at the sight of him. I could not explain the emotion I felt as I stared at him, and he stared back at me with his deep blue eyes.

  "Are you happy to see me?" He asked with an amused look on his face.

  I immediately felt ashamed of myself, he might have seen through me and saw all of the shameful desires I harboured about him in my heart, I felt like he could see through me with those magnificent eyes of his, and he might have seen all of the things I had imagined he would do to me with those lips of his, and those beautiful hands. But he can't really blame be though, rather he should be blamed for being too handsome.

  I immediately stood straight and swallowed hard, trying to get rid of the lumb that had formed in my throat within this short time I had stood in front of him.

  "You do not need to answer the question, your heart already answered it for me" a smirk formed on his face as he said those words, causing me to feel even more ashamed.

  At that point, I felt like running away too, not out of fear, but out of embarrassment for he probably knew everything I thought about him. I did not feel any iota of fear for the person in front of me, all I felt for him was desire, shameful desires. Okay maybe I feared him a bit, but not that much.

  "Why should I be happy to see you?" It took all of my self composure to say that in a straight voice.

  "You should be the one to answer that" he said as he stepped closer to me.

  "And for your information" I said quickly taking a step away from him, for I was scared that he possessed a charm which he could use to hypnotize me if I let him come too close. "He is not my colleague".

  "Is that so?" He smirked. "Who is he then?".

  "Probably one of the enemies you had warned me about the last time" I answered sharply, trying to ignore the beating of my rebellious heart that had decided to act on it's own accord and give me away like this.

  "I see". He said without giving me a break from his blue gaze, he had it fixed on me that I did not know when I got hypnotized without even realizing it.

  I stood glued to a spot until he walked towards me and just like the last time he immediately put his hand around my waist again.

  But this time around he did not pull me to him like he had done the last time, instead he stared deeply into my eyes then he let go just as fast as he had grabbed me.

  "Do you want to take a walk with me?" He suddenly asked, surprising me. Why would he ask me to take a walk with him? I remembered the last time I had asked to go with him but he had refused vehemently, and here he was asking me to take a walk with him. I did not want to miss out on the chance, so I immediately nodded my head. That was when I realized that it was a full moon, I did not mind taking a walk with a handsome young man whom I barely knew on the night of a full moon.

  "Good thing you took all of my teachings to heart, at least you were able to fight of the real enemies" he said to me as we walked. "But it's such a pity that you wandered into this dangerous parts of the forest.

  "What made this part dangerous?" I asked trying to catch up his pace as he was walking too fast for my liking.

 Truly I had not really come across this path, I was just too desperate today to catch an animal that I had to trespass.

  "In case you must know, this is the enemies den".

  I could not help but wonder who was the enemy he was always talking about, could it be the same sets of werewolves I had been trying to fight off since I arrived here?

  I considered asking him, but then I decided against it, and instead told him about how difficult it had been for me to catch an animal.

  "Do you know how to set a trap?" He asked.

  I thought about it and shook my head, I never bothered learning how to set one since I had always had Theodore at my beck and call.

  "Setting a trap is one of the easiest ways to hunt, you don't always have to use all of your powers in getting animals that should be used for food.

  I could not help but wonder who this stranger was.

  "You should teach me how to set one then" I said boldly.

  "Not so quick" he said sharply without even letting me round up with my request. "What are you ready to give out in return.

  I could not believe what I was hearing, how could he be so shameless to ask me to give him something in return for teaching me how to set a trap.

  I decided to play along with him anyways.

  "And what would you want from me in return?" I asked him.

  "I do not think you would be able to afford what I would ask for".

  "Then no trap setting lessons for me?" I asked with a smirk.

  "Maybe".

  I was so carried away by our discussion that I did not realize I wasn't looking, I fell into a hole that looked like a trap.

  I screamed out in pain as I hit the ground of the hole. Luckily enough for me, it was not that deep, but I would still need a hand to help me out.

  I looked up and saw the handsome stranger looking into the hole with an amused look on his face, that was when it occured to me that I had not even asked for his name.

  He stretched out his hand to me which I took with gratitude, and then he pulled me out of the hole. But something strange happened the moment I was out of the whole, I suddenly felt an electric shock on the hand with which I had held him, and just like the speed of lightening, we were both thrown apart, far away from each other.
