Chapter 10

Every morning over the next half a month, Liam brought me to chemotherapy.

During one afternoon, he said that he would help me choose a gravesite.

When I saw that the gravesite I chose cost much, I looked down at the one-hundred-dollar bill in hand and felt dejected.

Liam seemed to have understood what I felt, and he just patted my head dotingly.

“Do you like it?”

I nodded. “Can I have it?”

After some thinking, Liam said jokingly, “Call me Lee, and I’ll buy it for you.”

I blinked. Then, with a well-behaved look in my eyes, I stood on my tiptoes and drew near to his ear while also grabbing the hem of his shirt.

I whispered softly, “Could you buy it for me, Lee?”

Liam could not take it. He turned his head to the side. But his face burned so red that it reached his ears.

He cleared his throat and did not dare look me in the eyes. He still handed me his card, though.

“U-Use it!”

I cradled my stomach and laughed.

To think that Liam would have such an adorable side.
