Sixty Seven.

Lana’s POV

Pacing the room, waiting for Blake to say something else was nerve wracking. I still couldn’t believe he was already here, but why would Logan have let him come alone. Logan had said over and over, that a single wolf didn’t stand a chance against Hallen.

The door finally starts to open and I take a step back, uncertain of who might be on the other side.

Blakes strange grey eyes come into view and then hers, Kendras. He wasn’t holding her, she wasn’t tied up or anything. Like they were there, together.

“There, are you happy now?” Kendra’s irritating voice pierced my ears as she glared at Blake.

“Don’t assume that I am happy.”

“Well, you have seen her, now get lost.” Kendra stares into the back of Blakes head as he takes a step forward into the doorway.

“Never assume.” He mutters, smiling at me. Was the statement for me or for Kendra?

He grabs hold of Kendra and pulls her into the room. She starts muttering under her breath as Blake grabs her throat with his large hand.
