Blake’s POV

When Leo links me, I already knew that something was wrong. I make my excuses with Logan and walk swiftly across the pack grounds. The moment I am out of sight, hidden by trees. I strip off, shifting and racing towards my new home. Something was wrong with Lana. I could feel it in my bones.

Crashing in through the front door. Leo and Calvin were arguing. Something about who should be the one to tell me.

“Where is she?” I demand through mind link and they both stare at me, like they were surprised to see me. I realised that I was still in wolf form and neither of them had seen my large grey wolf. It was rare that I shifted these days. Lana had already seen me, but that was because I had to make sure she survived.

Transforming back, they look relieved when they see it's me. Though now I am more concerned that they froze rather than attacked when a strange wolf appeared in the new packhouse.

“Where is she?” I ask again and Leo points to an open door.

“She is out cold.”
