Seventy Seven.

Lana’s POV

“What are you doing here?” I jumped up from the rock. My feet causing a ripple in the dark, still water.

“Why are you here, Lana?” I look up into his confused grey eyes as he questions me.

I look around at the water. The rippling had faded and once again it was still. I didn’t understand how Blake had found me. And I didn’t know how to answer him. This wasn’t the first time I had been here.

“Lana?” He calls out to me as he takes another step forward. The confusion in his eyes disappears as his brows knit together as he registers my calmness. “You have been here before?”

I still didn’t know where ‘here’ was. But I had, just not for a long time. It was peaceful, it brought calm to the chaos. It was quiet and sometimes that is exactly what I needed.

Crouching down, I skim my hand across the smooth surface of the dark water. It may be calm and quiet here but everything was dark. The only light came from the half moon hovering above us. Casting long black shadows on the ground,
