Sixty Nine.

Lana’s POV

There was no point anymore. My life was falling to pieces. I had a man standing in front of me that didn’t give a shit. So much so that he had set me up. I had a mate that was in a constant battle with his feelings over me. I had been played my entire life by the very person I was closest too. I was done.

I call my wolf forward, letting her take over. I feel the shift in my body as my bones start to crack. It would be an easy death, painful, but simple. It would be no ones fault.

“Lana, stop! Don’t do this.” Blake calls out to me.

I already felt weak, weaker than usual as my wolf forced herself forward.

“Lana, you can’t do this.”

Blake grabs hold of my shoulders as my bones continue to crack. It was almost as painful as my first time. Almost like my body knew it would be the last time.

My clothes start to split at the seams as my body is thrown to the ground.

“Lana. You have to stop this.” I could see the fear in his grey eyes.
