Aegeus and his many clones dived straight into action. Like Olympic athletes starved of competition they were eager to impress. Each of them held a replica of Aegis, and none of them was weak. The clones numbered 30 in all, much more than the total number of intruders left. So the prior situation was reversed in an instant. Now it was the intruders who were short on numbers!*Boom*A deafening sound rang out as an intruder was besieged by three Aegeus clones and clobbered to death. He had barely recovered from the surprise when the clones targeted him.He wasn't the only one to face such an end. Aegeus's eyes were red with fury. His expression was full of pain and reluctance. When had he been forced into such a state before? Since he was little he was taught to bow to no one - with the exception only being those who earned his respect. He was raised to be upright and noble, and to do what was right. However, he lost his way along the line and became an arrogant twat who knew nothing but stepping on the pride of others. Then he met his master; he met Mane. Mane was unlike the others Aegeus had bullied. The difference between the young Supreme and the others was simple: he was strong! That was all there was to it! Yes, Mane was intelligent. General Siwa looked at Aegeus like she would a clown. Her lips curled into a mocking smile. She snickered briefly before saying, "You? Stop me? It surprised her greatly, for this was the same boy who struggled to stand before her, yet now he was walking towards her with confident strides. Nothing had changed since that time; well nothing but the potion the boy had ingested. Naturally her first thought was that the potion had the ability to ignore her aura suppression."Did it somehow cancel out my natural suppression?"This thought increased General Siwa's lust towards acquiring the potion. With a potion like that she could easily earn the favour of the True Goddess and become the 1st General under her wing! A massive explosion with Aegeus at its centre destroyed much of the forest and undid all the good work of General Siwa. A cloud of dust obscured the area surrounding the seal for a short while - but only a short while. "Disperse" General Siwa's cold voice sounded out, and the obaque screen of dust and sand instantly disappeared to reveal Aegeus hunched over Aegis. The Soul Weapon throbbed continuously as it hummed dully. It seemed exhausted and overtaxed; and why wouldn't it be? This was the greatest feat it had achieved since it's birth. It had taken much to do what it did and now its energy reserves were dangerously low!"Hah...hah...hah...hah" Aegeus was sweating profusely with his eyes slightly dazed in a forced state of exhaustion. "You know too much," General Siwa stated coldly before disappearing from her position. Aegeus's intuition started to scream at him once her voice sounded out. Even in his state of exhaustion he still had energy to spare. Instinctively he moved out of the way, leaping several meters away from where he initially stood. And just in time too, for like a giant meteor crashing into the ground, General Siwa's fist struck the earth and reshaped the forest floor!*Boom*With a mighty roar General Siwa's aura exploded, and the might of a powerful Ascender was revealed. Her eyes were as cold as the frozen lake of hell, and her lips were stretched into a cold smirk."You could have kept all that to yourself and lived," she told Aegeus, revealing her intentions to kill him now. It seemed that she had forgotten all about capturing him for the potion. Her hair whipped around in the wind generated from her fist and her power rioted within her. Far from the sight of battle was a small village. This village was located in the north, and belonged to the Northern Empire. It was a village whose borders marked the borders of the Northern Empire and was popularly known as the ‘Edge of the World’ since there was no other human settlement after it.
